What can help quicken the refresh rate of the dodge ability ?

Edited by Chunk: 8/1/2022 1:05:00 AM100 mobility plus Either void cloak with 2 perpetual motion mods in it or a stasis cloak with 2 utility kickstart mods in it, there is a solar only class fragment that reduces class ability cool-down also, with these it is as fast as you're going to get. Unless you want to use the title void smg that slightly reduces cool-down on kills, not worth it imo to use this weapon.

Every ability has been lengthened. Supers take way longer, nades, and melee. They all used to be way quicker.

Seriously? It already is so fast. Any faster and people wouldn't have to reload, they'd just dodge, which Bungie is trying to avoid such an easy mode.

100 mobility, use frost ees, double mods that restores class ability on class ability usage. I think thats about as good as it can get, the rest would have to come from fragments. If you are on pve then use a ton of well mods to get all your abilities fast. If you get it right you can drop the solar class ability dodge to like 12-17 seconds.

Depending on the subclass, there are mods that make the ability refresh sooner by picking up elemental wells. Picking up wells does that anyway to a lesser amount on all subclasses, so use bountiful wells to get as many as you can. Some fragments also make dodge refresh more quickly. Check them out.

Edited by Kiro - 13: 7/30/2022 6:50:24 PMUtility Kick Start, a cloak mod for hunters does this with zero setup. If you are 100 mobility it reduces the cool down of gamblers dodge to 17 seconds and for marksmen dodge 13 seconds when two of these mods are used(it only costs 1 so dont sweat hard thinking you dont have the slots/room). Its a % value reduction so the worse your mobility is the more it returns. Bolstering Detonation(gauntlet mod) and Focusing Strike(gauntlet mod) also reduce your dodge cool down but have hoops you need to jump through to activate them. DO NOT USE Perpetuation, for some reason even though its costs twice as much it does almost nothing. I myself use Utility Kick Start and Focusing Strike with Acrobats Dodge. Hope that answers your question. Forewarning though hunters are the most gear dependant class as we have to split our stats 4 ways, warlocks and titans move just as fast if not faster once they master character control while totally ignoreing mobility. To give some perspective a 100 mobility hunter with stompees is slower then a warlock or titan with 10 mobility.

Mods such as Utility Kickstart [i](Stasis, for Class Item)[/i] also can help to recover it faster once activated.
