Duality Dungeon-Heartshadow Sword drops
It dropped twice for me and none for my clan friends after dozens of efforts. That should not happen.
Its bad enough that very few get it but then a player getting it twice makes it another activity that players don't want to do. The stats for players playing this and VOG and other hard content is low, shouldn't that be a concern?
I will not play it anymore just to make sure I don't get it a 3rd time, it's quite ridiculous that this is a possible occurrence considering how coding could prevent it in addition to increasing drop rate, the game is about rewards for all, or did someone forget that?

Don't know what you taking about, every my friend got this sword. Someone at first clear, myself got it on 10 run or so, other one got it after more then 20 clears.

1 Replythis may sound ......., but when my team and i were doing it whoever was on warlock and having a hard time staying alive, got the drop.

1 ReplyIn its current iteration it has little utility and I like swords. Got it on my second run while looking for Stormchaser which never dropped for me in many runs. A cruel joke from Bungie on a champagne problem.

1 ReplyThe sword is fun. Not necessarily "good". I use it on my Warlock. It has worse stats than Lament, and Lament does way more damage with its special perks. I just run it cause I like going invis on my Warlock and I like showing it off. But they really aren't missing out. The amount of extra damage you so after a heavy attack is very minimal.

Bad RNG is part of Bungie’s coordinated plan to keep items in high regard The triumphs adding to the drop rate is a good move in the right direction, but overall i truly dont believe Bungie will make the top items easier to acquire The concept isnt exclusive to Destiny or Bungie. Low top-tier loot drop chances are everywhere. - Path of Exile - Black Dessert - Borderlands - Outriders - Warframe The issue is intrinsic to the Looter genre. Not a twisted middle finger to the fans directly from Bungie

i started off really wanting the sword, now after god knows how many clears i couldn't care less anymore bungle really f*&^%d up this dungeon and the exotic drop rate.you have to laugh they give us a new exotic for season of the haunted and most people wont get it till next season or later pmsl

Agreed Bungie needs to look at this problem with exotics dropping for one player multiple times in a row. I was in a Last Wish raid and 1K Voices dropped for me 2 times and another player 2 times when we opened the chests, thats 4 x 1K Voices and only 2 players getting them instead of 4 happy players, thats just wrong.

100% agreed something needs to be done for all dungeons and raids, current and future. I only have the lore increased chance, because it can’t solo or do master. The Rng is making people want to give up and just stop trying.

I have yet to get the sword and I would say I am at least 60 runs in on Duality. I have heard it can be farmed and I have heard it can't but I run it every time a friend does just for the chance and I am still trying to get the smg and the blue prints.

this game has never been about rewards for all. but having said that, certain things like raid / dungeon exotics should be guaranteed drops after a certain number of clears. (more than 10, less than 100)

2 RepliesStopped running VOG because I saw the same guy in our group get - real talk - six Vex Mythoclast drops while I and others got none. After a while it feels like there's no point. Plus I like the guy but feel resentment towards him over this but it's not even his fault. Just such not a good feeling or game experience all around. There's totally something buggy in their code where it picks the same player to get the exotic multiple times. Six times!!?? That cannot be RNG! So 100% agree.

I've been begging for a better bad luck protection system for awhile now. Even just information regarding what my current drop percentage is. I hate how this game is extremely punishing for time invested for rng. And yet there is no information on it.

I've done solo flawless and have all the increase drop rate things and still no sword for me Haha the things a unicorn.

I just like how trading is allowed in every other MMORPG except for Destiny.. they act like that's the type of game this is, but don't allow trading/selling gear

I think I got it after like 18-20 clears and I’m the only one that I know of in my normal circle of buddies that has it. Definitely a unicorn. It’s fun to mess around with, but it’s not practical for most content. Most exotics seem to be that way.

I wasn't hopeful in getting the Raid exotics since I rarely have good luck in Raids but Vex dropped for me on my fourth run (on D2 obvs). And recently 1K Voices dropped for me on my first ever Riven completion but the Duality sword, despite having all the "Drop rate boosters", is yet to drop. The RNG is so weird on this game lol

I got the sword twice in a row also. One of those times I was in a black screen trying to re-join.

It's insane, like any other rng in the game. Raid wepons - some get it 1st clear, some still don't have it after countless runs. Gambit memento - some get it in 2 matches, yet there are Dredgens x5 with 4+ resets and not a single one. So many similar examples. I still don't have Heartshadow myself, but I don't care or need it, but fully understand how annoying these things are.

Depends. Heartshadow isn’t farmable Vex is on the certain rotation week. So unless ur clan mates are doing VoG every week 20 times there no point
