I am probably a bit late for this but I am just back to destiny after a couple of months, already had my solo clears done so I wanted to try flawless, went in just to try different strategies, and noticed that everything was as before except for the last boss. I kept getting killed instantly after teleporting, at first I thought It was because I was teleporting on top of an add or viceversa, tried different spots, nothing, then I realized well if this happens during flawless I am f.... I might have to work on 1 phase him, best I can do is 2 phases at the moment, but thats a lot of pressure tbh. Also noticed getting architected from what I think is the cabal shield explosion when I pop it with my hammers? otherwise I dont know whatelse could 1 shot me. And no, its not the cabal with the flamethrowers since they were all there, this also happened a few times, not sure if it is something I am doing wrong, I now stay away from those and kill them from afar. But the teleport glitch, I can't find a workaround, no point in trying going flawless, did never happened 2 months ago. We did have the glitch when you would get killed if standing too close to the bell or something like that but not this one. I simply cannot finished it because I get telekilled, it seems to happen 1 out of 5 times...

Stay away from the bells when you shoot them. You can't stand there.

I think it has to do with two bodies occupying the same spot when you teleport. The game sees you in the same memory location as the bell in the shadow realm and so it causes the game to "physics" you. I suggest sitting as far from the bells as you can be when you shoot it to teleport and as far as you can be, while still being inside the ring, when you teleport back. Hope they fix it soon, nonetheless.

yep came here to post this exact thing. I've been running solo Duality a ton since it came out and never saw it until my run last night. Happened twice in one run and the first one killed my solo flawless attempt at the vault. Someone commented they think it's a collision issue with an enemy in the nightmare world but I disagree, I never saw it until this week and the second time it happened I was midair jumping up to the psion platform as I teleported - absolutely nothing I could have collided with. Definitely think it's a new bug since the patch last reset too.
