I love what they have done with the Tower's decorations for Solstice 2022, and I also love the music! Please, could we enjoy the flowers even after the Solstice ends? They are so pretty!
-
Also, can we get some evolution in The Tower as the story progresses? Bungie removed the faction leaders since they weren't going to do anything else with them and nothing has change since then.
-
I do wish even outside of the events we could see the seasons change in the tower. Like even before and after FOTL it still looks like autumn. Before and after dawning it looks like winter. We get some kind of spring look, then summer solstice. I still want real elaborate decorations for the events themselves. But I also don’t want the tower to feel static so often.

2 RepliesLol everyone can kind of touch grass then.
-
2 RepliesI completely agree. The Tower is boring AF when there is no event going on. But I love how nice it makes the tower look
-
10 RepliesI would preffer bungie giving us an apartment of our own. Where you can inv your friends too, decorate to your liking, hang on the wall the weapons you have collected. That would be pretty cool
-
Please no! I agree it does look beautiful, but after three weeks I need my cleaned-up tower back again. The decorations (Guardian games, solstice, festival of the lost, dawning) are special not only because they are beautiful, but also because they don’t last.

The grass reminds me of the Reverly event years ago. It is more fitting for that event. I was hoping something like those floating balls that appear at the Tower to become beach balls and the ground to be cover with sands. I can imagine Eva could be standing in front of a large sandcastle. And string of colorful lights hanging across from poles as well as tiki torches placed at various locations. If bungie ever think about bringing the Reverly back like for as springtime event, these flowers and grass go very well with it and maybe add SRL or the Infinite Forest or a combo or something else new.

1 ReplyThe tower should have had some kind of visual update each expansion anyway kinda weird talking about an evolving world and the only thing that's changed to it is the -blam!- tease near miss of the eververse store from the almighty getting destroyed
-
Would be awesome if the weather changes too. I’m sure rain is on forecast at some point
-
I hope the grass stays in the tower so I don’t have to go outside to “touch grass” but instead just go to the tower! 😂😂👍🏻✌🏻
-
No, don’t leave the grass. It will grow and someone will have to cut it and everyone knows that you shouldn’t cut someone else’s grass.
-
The grass and flowers are a nice touch. But, the next event will be Festival of the Lost, for which the flowers would not fit the ambience as well. Thankfully, the decorations around the tower for these events usually look nice, so whatever replaces the flowers for Halloween will hopefully be as nice as the flowers.
-
They won't. For years people have asked for new places, new decorations, instead of that depressing concrete coffin, and they don't care. Worst are players who only care about nerfing and numbers.
-
Won't happen. Not to mention I don't know why people expect the Tower/City to be a place players can go to after Lightfall.
-
It’s a bit much for a permanent aesthetic but I reckon a few extra items here and there wouldn’t hurt.
-
3 RepliesWho will water and attend to the flowers. Will you?
-
2 RepliesAnd add some ducks
-
Honestly yeah, the decoration looks nice. Now we need decorations depending on the season we are on.
-
Leave the grass x it really helps or just patch up the gap I think.
-
Great...so now we can't tell people to "go outside and touch grass anymore "? Lol....
-
I think tower should change it look depending from season summer/autumn/winter/spring. So yeah, grass and flowers should be permanent for summer time.
-
Until the witness comes and wrecks everything come lightfall.
-
Agreed; tower looks good!
-
It was nice change to notice flowers next to Zavala while grabbing bounties.
-
And the birdsong, too! 👍
-
Yeah I like the real seasonal content of sunshine and birdies! I look forward to winter months inside the tower as well.
