trials of osiris typically is a 3v3 gamemode where your objective is to kill the opposing team. when you throw in an objective that skews the ORIGINAL objective, it completely eliminates the feeling and identity of trials. ive already made a post about how i havent heard anyone that i play with say that they enjoy zone control, and a few people commented about how they actually do enjoy it, that it forces people to move. OG trials does this too because you cant just sit in spawn for the whole round. there is, eventually, a zone that you have to capture, but this zone is a LAST RESORT. you shouldnt play trials with the intent to capture a zone by building a protective fort, you should play trials with the intent to kill your opponents before they kill you. im sorry to the handful of people that i never see that truly enjoy zone control trials, but i think itl should be removed

1 ReplyCapture point forces the action. I like it better. People can't just camp and wait for a pick with omni lorentz/low.
-
1 ReplyZone Trials slightly makes this map play better, but the map don’t belong In rotation
-
1 ReplyBad players hate objectives, it forces them out of hiding 🤣 Cry more
-
4 RepliesIt helps in pointing out who's actually bad at the game.

4 RepliesI hate control for trials cause it really punishes hunters The lack of a defence super really does a number, sure mid tree arc can be a defence thanks the exotic chest piece But that cost a exotic slot. Sure golden gun or blade barrage can deal with most supers But in reality that’s literally just a bandage against a large wound Void is in the same boat Titans and warlocks can defend and block damage by bubble or well But to deal with it a hunter has to lose theirs and deal with a Titan with a damage buff and try get close to a warlock who has a damage buff

2 RepliesBad players hate Objective modes

2 Repliesno zone control is the best mode of trials
-
5 Repliesnormal trials where 3 people sit in spawn and hard scope a sniper is boring make them move with an objective what do all the trials try hard sweats say? gitgud? guess it doesn't apply both ways
-
Personally I love it… it needs to stay
-
Do people can't just sit behind corners the whole time because they have to play the objective... and you don't like that?

Edited by Facelauss: 7/24/2022 11:07:01 PMParagraphs make walls more legible Also zone* improves the flow of some maps and can make matches faster/less sitting in the back of the map

3 RepliesEdited by Infamous067: 7/23/2022 3:09:04 AMI actually enjoy it until everyone has access to supers. Thats when the crap starts with bubbles and well of radiance.
-
Damn look at all those titans downvote this post
-
2 RepliesWe don’t need zone control trials anymore we need mayhem trials
-
1 ReplyI enjoy the control zone until supers are brought into the picture. Bubbles and wells of radiance ruin such a good concept.
-
They should change it to countdown, gives some opportunities to counterplay once the bomb is deployed.
-
I enjoy Zone Control because it forces teams to develop strategies for the entire map and not just around the center area. It works best on large maps like Midtown.
-
well I mean REGARDLESS if the game mode is zone cap or not, that’s not stopping omni LoW and lorley crutch losers along with wormhusk + classy restoration freaks from waiting the entire round timer out at the back of the map UNTIL the zone becomes available. even with the hypothetical removal of zone cap, you’re still facing the same fortress issue.
-
The major problem isn't objective mode, it's load outs and how people play as well as bungies "balance". The fact that trials brings out the worst cheese and rage inducing playstyles says alot of what the issue is.
-
Absolutely miserable experience. Not to mention solo players are abused and used shamelessly
trials of osiris typically is a 3v3 gamemode where your objective is to kill the opposing team. when you throw in an objective that skews the ORIGINAL objective, it completely eliminates the feeling and identity of trials.
I don't think so. All it does is force players to move to different spots on the maps and offer a capture goal for the casual players. From my own experience I think zone control Trials is by a large margin fun compared to default trials.

But this weekend is so much fun with the zone.
-
I don’t hate it, but I think it highly depends on the map. Some maps like midtown is kinda fun, others like convergence is terrible
-
2 RepliesEdited by Killmonger: 7/22/2022 9:23:46 PMI agree. Yo be honest I’d like a kill confirmed version of trials lol

1 ReplyYou posted this directly after losing in trials......
