Phoenix Dive should be bound to air dive not class ability
I understand why it is bound to the rift button, as it replaces your rift and is technically your class ability when equipped, but I think it would be a great qol update if it was the same binding as air dive.

The problem I have with it, is in 2.0 you could have a rift and if you wanted PD. So heal or empower yourself/ teammates and if you picked the option also have PD. PD was a great way for a warlock to get out of danger. Now you have to pick, rift or PD. I wish they would put it back as a standalone option.

48 RepliesBruh, why do warlocks complain so much? You have mobility abilities that WARLOCKS SHOULDN'T HAVE EVER HAD. One of your abilities, is quite literally stolen from a titan exotic. Yet you complain? You're not even a mobility class, yet you get to be the fastest class in the game, right above TITANS in second place. Go cry and seethe.

It isn't good enough to replace the class ability. It should never have been removed from TopDawn. It shouldn't heal (micro-heal), it should've remained part of the Subclass.

Just make it like Hunters void invisible bomb. Like an Aspect. Problem solved. Without melee charge no dive.

I miss being able to phoenix dive off cliffs. I didn’t like the new change.

If anything it needs a buff for it's long A** cooldown.

1 ReplyI'm all game for an Air Bound Power as long as they do the same to Hunter. I want it tied to Heat Rises and For Hunter, let it be tied to On Your Mark or Knock Em Down

I played around with it on day 1 and haven't touched it since, because it's just not worth replacing your rift. The problem is that if you use it as an air move, what do you bind Icarus Dash to? Can't have them both on the same button. Not sure what the solution is there.
