I’m honestly pretty sure The Final Shape will be a Vex expansion. Hopefully we’ll get the introduction of a new vex boss-type-thing that we can actually interact with in the story. We’ve got a “face” for each enemy race that we can grow to hate or love… the Vex Don’t. H3ll, give us a Cortana knockoff that actually has a personality. The vex have been this “unknowable force” for so long, we need someone to bring them into the story each season. The scorn have been getting some great additions the past few seasons. The fallen and Hive have had great lore for years. The cabal lore was revived last year with Season of the Chosen. The Vex and Taken need seasons in preparation for Lightfall. Im predicting next season as a taken/scorn season in the dreaming city and end Riven’s curse. After that I’m thinking a Vex season centered on Nessus as the final lead up to Lightfall and involve us possibly interacting with the vex on a shakey temporary alliance. Both destinations are disappearing into the DCV with lightfall, so it’d be cool to cap ooff these two threads before then. Maybe add a little Rasputin into the vex season or something, idk
