2 RepliesShoulder charge can one shot in mid air and requires 0 skill with peregrine greaves (hope that’s the right spelling, someone correct me if it’s not) Whereas a throwing knife requires u to throw it to the head for a one shot which takes more skill that ramming someone with a shoulder

It would need some pretty big nerfs if it could. 1. Reduced speed and range 2. Reduced auto targeting 3. Uses melee charge even if it misses
-
How long was Shatter Dive a thing before it got nerfed? Frigging forever!!!
-
3 RepliesDon't you know? It's because...
Throwing knife takes skill
... as everything surrounding Hunters, it's the only class that requires skill, it's the hardest to play, most nerfed and held back... everything else is easy mode, all the great Hunter players always tell me that. 6 RepliesWarlock here. I stand in support of Shoulder Charge one-hitting and hammer one-hitting. It’ll be annoying but I’m a big boy so I’ll manage.
-
13 RepliesThrowing hammer should also one shot if throwing knife can

18 RepliesDon’t forget Flux nades can do, but HHSN can not either.

Hunters: Weighted knives shouldn’t be nerfed, leave them and their ohk alone. Titans: Shoulder Charge should ohk and if it can’t then knives need a nerf. Me, an intellectual: I just want want to use prox knives to make the world burn. Buff scorch.
-
Only thing I want it changed for is to do away with pvp teammate physics. The amount of times I've been booped by a friendly titan to death/right into enemy fire off spawn and mid game is honestly hilariously ridiculous.
-
11 RepliesI’m okay with shoulder charge being a one shot but like all things, there needs to be some trade offs. Weighted knife - body shot, no kill - Missed target, melee used with no damage - Tried to regular melee, uses throwing knife, you lose melee fight - Ranged - One shot on crit Shoulder charge - incredible mobility tool with next to no cool down - AoE effects - Only consumed on hit - At no risk of accidentally using in melee trade off - Needs to be close range to hit (6-7m tracking from memory) It’s already an exceptional ability without being a one shot. There needs to be more negatives in the mix if it gets buffed to kill on hit.
-
Should have been there in D1. Shoulder charge had its glory. Adapt or move on.
-
2 RepliesJust as bungie intended for class balance and identity. Hunter is now the: DPS Healing Tank Stealth And agility class. Bungie just looked at the demographic of the vast majority of the player base being hunter mains and just decided to double down on that, slowly making the other two obsolete for most activities.

Bot running into something vs actually aiming a knife on the head. Yeah totally the same.

16 RepliesWell if I threw a flaming knife into your head you’d die wouldn’t you.? Yes well if i rugby tackled you or kneed you in your gut you’d get winded wouldn’t you.

After years of being stupidly one shot behind a corner by gorilla titan, I have no sympathy for you and would gladly applaud the accuracy of the hunter.
-
Slap on them exotic legs lol

1 ReplyThis is what happens when Bungie themselves do not play the PVP side of the game. They have no clue whats hot and what isnt

5 RepliesEdited by l Xemnas: 7/4/2022 7:49:07 AM
Throwing knife takes skill
The amount of Arthyrs embrace I've seen today making knives bounce into headshots.... or just take simply winding up behind cover, stepping out to throw the knife then stepping back in.
-
1 ReplyShould require an exotic to one shot for Throwing knives just like Titans Also need to make a hunter exotic that allows shatter dive to one shot again but that has a strong in air accuracy penalty and spends the dodge charge so they have to commit.. kind of like a shoulder charge
-
7 RepliesTypical Bungie Hunter favoritism. Throwing Knives are hilariously easy to use and curve into heads. OHK magnets.
-
2 RepliesLet me see.... which is more likely to kill someone instantly... A weighted throwing knife being driven into your brain, or some dude shoulder tackling you?
-
I remember when it was the other way around, and back then I didn’t understand why shoulder charge was a ohko in pvp but not a knife to the head. But now I feel bad.
