Give legend of acrius a buff
Want to use my prestige ornament and it’s been a while since this thing was usable

Idk I like it. A buff would be nice for it but I pull it out in 6v6 and it does great. No one really expects it, similar to colony

5 RepliesIt just needs at least 3-4 mags worth of ammo and it needs to be overhauled where it doesn’t deal crit damage anymore but has a significantly higher base damage to compensate.

It does precisely 0 more damage than any legendary aggressive frames that are special weapons. Maybe "Long March" can help you get the jump on someone in pvp, but that's not worth a heavy + exotic slot. In pve there is zero reason to use it.

That thing needs trench barrel AND one-two punch to be even remotely viable

I don't have it but I think a range bonus would be nice. It should clearly outrage all other shotguns.

It’s just a forgotten gun like Xenophage (which is also amazing after bungie reversed the nerfs). Don’t let a destiny content creator decide how you play the game because most of them are copycats of themselves spamming blatant misinformation. It’s a shame that it took the nerfs that were apart of the saga of shotgun nerfs over the many seasons.

16 RepliesThe problem with a few of these weapons like this and D.A.R.C.I. and etc is they were designed for when shotguns and snipers were heavies. Now that is no longer the case these weapons are better off being removed altogether.

1 ReplyHopefully the spread shotgun damage bonus applies to it. It’s got good damage, but there just isn’t an encounter that really plays to its strengths. Needing to be point blank while hitting crits makes a lot harder to use than most options.

I love Legend of Acrius and i really want a reason to use it but it currently sucks

1 ReplyThis, DARCI and whisper should be moved into the special slot in my opinion. They don’t perform well enough to warrant being a heavy weapon. Sure they could be buffed and would be welcomed but for me I think they’d be better in the special slot.

Quadruple base damage and have it so it can't crit. Boom. It feels like acrius should just hit like a big -blam!- truck. No precision, big clunky slow and high risk but also big chungus damage

Yes please! I'm hoping Arc 3.0 inadvertently buffs it as well! I actually like the Red snakeskin looking ornament better than the white prestige one... but I do like the prestige one too, kinda like bragging rights :) I love Acrius, just feels and looks incredible. Same it's damage output feels more or less on par with legendary SG's. Let's see what Arc 3.0 brings us :)

It would really help if they just made the base damage equal its precision damage, then removed precision damage altogether. If this sounds confusing, the damage would stay the same overall but you just no longer need headshots; just go for the CoM like you would for a fusion rifle.
