The game broke while playing trials where we killed the entire enemy team but the round didn't end (however the timer stopped so the cap point didn't spawn). Eventually my team leader decided to just back out, against my wishes I might add, since we were up 3-0 so I thought if anything the other team should leave, and we got a competitive suspension. It wouldn't have been a problem because normally it just gives you a warning for your first offense, but earlier we got booted back to orbit while flying in and that counted as leaving as well. It's hard not to feel like we were punished for Bungie not making their game work properly, and for all I know we're now flagged in some database as frequent match-leavers even though we did nothing wrong.

Same happened to me in freelance. We killed the opponents and then ourselves but nothing happened. Clock flashes on 0:00. Then I started chatting with a guy on the opponent who’s also xbox lol. Then I got kicked back to orbit due to inactivity followed by a warning it’s just funny

3 RepliesYou won’t get a suspension for leaving 1 match, just a warning

1 ReplyYep I got 1 earlier because I left the game too soon after it ended and classed it as me quiting, daft

Happened to me earlier, was for my 6th win in solo, still had my mercy luckily and it didn’t ruin my flawless haha

I got a temp ban last weekend due to error codes. Saved the clips from my perspective incase I get a longer ban and I can argue my case that I clearly wasn't leaving matches and that my connection is always more than adequate. I understand that punishing quitters is important but the system needs to have the ability to determine if a player quit or something went wrong out of the control of the player.

That was me you went up against in that match 😂 I was dead the entire time just watching the timer frozen, and then your team ended up backing out after a few minutes cause nothing was happening. I was super confused but it was highly entertaining to watch

7 RepliesEveryone that leaves comp or trials are treated the exact same. No matter the circumstance. It has no bearing on being restricted or banned (unless you do it an obscene amount of times in a row) A Suspension is only 30-60 mins.
