I have a huge surplus of them. Still can claim 10 or so in the season pass, have a few lying in my post office and a whole bunch at the Drifter for all the major ranks after resetting the rank once. Unless you use them for every 2 power level it's really much. On the other hand I have also had seasons where I was running really low so it would be nice to stock up a bit more.

I do agree with this especially considering that they Destiny economy is RIDICULOUSLY overburdening with the sheer number of currencies that have to be used to do even the most mundane things. Example. three different currencies in various amounts to purchase another single currency to destroy a weapon or armor (which in this way are now currency) to upgrade the light level of something you are using.

9 RepliesAll material caps should be removed.
-
No, get rid of them entirely so we dont have to go back to the tower to get modules! Make it like the old days!
-
2 RepliesThere should be no limit caps. All items should stack to 999. And even now we should get to see what max is BEFORE we get to max.
-
1 ReplyMy problem is I always run out
-
1 ReplyHa! I never have them ….I fly through my resources 🤷🏼♂️

Remove all limits

Remove limit on everything. Nothing like not being able to reset a vendor because you can't pick up any more shards. Having to spend materials because you'll lose them at season reset. I can promise Bungie ascendant shards aren't what keep my playing season to season. I won't sit out one just because I have a ton of them.
-
How about they give us more ways to get them? That actually works because the perk on my he ghost shell is worthless. I spend more shards on upgrade materials than anything in the game. I would have probably 15,000 shards if not for upgrade materials lmao instead I have about 1500 shards.

remove caps on all the mats

2 RepliesPut caps in stupid post

Edited by xilxad: 6/25/2022 12:45:01 AMBungie really hates when we stock up, as you should know. Thats why spider is gone and rahool is the economy vendor, we had too many legendary shards to suit bungie.

2 RepliesWhat’s the limit on Upgrade Modules?
-
4 RepliesRemove the whole process. It's idiotic to begin with. Make it an experience thing as in D1 and call it done. I have 0 idea why they took the wheel and said, screw it, burn it, replace it with a rhombus. These idiots change things just to change thing. Not because it makes the first bit of sense.
-
1 ReplyShould remove limit on all items, then sunset them like they've done with other stuff, limiting items in a looter shooter is -blam!-.

Edited by Peanut_343: 6/24/2022 1:00:13 PMRemove the limit on everything!

Not sure why there’s a cap for this or really any other consumable materials. Such as ascendant shards and enhancement prisms. There’s literally no harm in having more in your inventory than what we already have now. If there’s any cap, probably put a 999 cap on armor/weapon upgrade materials that are not gunsmith materials.
-
Bad game design to put limits caps on resources period.
-
3 RepliesBeen deleting prisms and upgrade mods all season just to reset ranks, been happening for a few seasons now. Deleting materials to reset ranks shows how little thought goes into the economy of this game

5 RepliesBungie decides infusion, which was causing no technical issues, was a problem. Bungie shoehorns Masterwork cores into infusion. Masterwork cores don't drop a lot. This creates a problem. Bungie renames Masterwork cores. Problem not solved. Bungie sprinkles extra sources of Masterwork cores around. The problem they created is solved. Nothing was gained but they spent a lot of energy on this. Bungie decides people being able to Masterwork weapons with the solutions to the initial problem they created is a problem. Bungie shoehorns in an extra step of having to purchase upgrade modules with resources in order to infuse weapons and armor. They limit the number of upgrade modules you can hold, to solve the "problem" of hoarding. The journey was long and tortured, and didn't improve the player experience and didn't solve any technical issues and used up developer time that could have been spent on anything else. Bungie should be a verb in the dictionary that means "to expend effort solving problems created by oneself by creating new problems".

There is no reason for the limits on any material. If I play and earn them I should be able to hold on to them and do as I please. This constant limit on materials is a pain in the -blam!-. I get it, some people will never play enough to horde materials for later, hell, they don't have enough for right now. That shouldn't be my problem. If I play the game and earn an item, it shouldn't be not allowed just because I already have all I can hold.
-
What? I constantly use mine ..I can’t grasp this.
-
I want more ways to get them through gameplay, even if it's only a couple a week through banshee bounties
-
18 RepliesWhy cap it when you clearly don’t use them? Seriously, play all 3 characters & you’ll definitely run out
-
2 RepliesIt's not a big issue for me, however I'd like to know why some items like Modules, Prisms and Shards have a stock limit in our inventory. Is it a game design choice for a specific reason? Did Bungie ever give an explanation about it? Just wondering.

4 RepliesEdited by SARS-COV-2 B.1.617.2: 6/24/2022 2:47:43 PMI have 72 sitting in my characters' postmasters and 25 in my inventory. Start playing on your Warlock and Hunter and I'm sure you'll find a reason to spend the ones you're stockpiling now. Your highest character is at 1542 so I'm sure you'll find weapons you like and can spend modules to raise the power level of those weapons. Same applies to armor with decent stats.
