Allowing players to farm Bright Dust for full season passes would help boost player retention which, to me, is just as valuable as having players buy season passes
It could also add value to selling deluxe expansions by Bungie themselves
I dont know how much bright dust a season pass should be but if the D2 community and Bungie work together through feedback I can see how having season passes unlockable by brightdust farming could help keep player numbers up and stable in between expansions

31 RepliesSeason pass content requires labor hours. Those people get paid with money from the Silver you spend on the Season Pass, or with the money people spend for the Deluxe Edition. Which is why Bungie will never let people buy the Season Pass with the game’s free currency.

Bright dust is worth $0.00 .. it would never happen

It wouldn't work. Bright dust has not monetary value. If Bungie were to do this I could see the dlc prices go up to offset the lost of revenue. The game is already grindy enough.

14 RepliesThe company has to make money. Cosmetics and what not I would say all should be purchasable with bright dust. But season passes and expansions should not.

When you get your own development company, you can make the game free if you want. Bungie seems to be doing ok without you

LMAO no worst idea I ever heard

A lot of games don't even have a free currency for cosmetics. Bungie is a commercial company, which means increasing the profits is the main goal, doesn't matter what they are saying, if someone would actually suggest this idea he either going to be fired or others would think that he is mentally ill, it's just stupid to make a decision which is going to reduce money they earn from players and saying it's not is delusional
