I have 322 clears of VOG and still no vex
This is a cry for help as multiple people are wasting their precious time for nothing because of a rigged drop bungie clearly doesn’t care about. It’s just outrageous that there is no bad luck protection on an old exotic they bring back to destiny 2. My buddy got vex on his 14th run and I was happy for him new I could get it soon 322 runs later I’m FED UP WITH IT. I’ve been with countless LFGS sat threw the worst and the saddest I feel some of the community has lost hope for bungie because so many people farmed mythoclast and are 100 runs deep that should never happen for a raid exotic I hope this reaches the right people.
Should vex mythoclast drop rate be increased?

I’m not sure what other people are talking about regarding CP farming. Bad luck protection isn’t in VoG they never added that in that raid. And almost everyone I know that has Vex did it through CP farming even myself. Unfortunately your luck is just bad & I do wish you the best.

13 RepliesOk bud let me break this down for you since you are clearly a new raider with a ton of cps. You have 4 overall raid clears. Last week vex became farmable due to raid week. However you did not have any bad luck protection from prior weeks. Which leads to a 5% chance that never went up and its an assumption its 5%. Thats not additive or anything you have a 5% chance every run meaning rng is not in your favor. Do the raid fully as intended build your bad luck protection per week, and once you have a few real clears you will get the weapon as rng swings in your favor after so much bad luck protection.

Your case is a prime example that bungie should take a consideration to perhaps make all raid or dungeon exotics be quest based. Exotic or any exclusive drop rates shouldn't be this drastic. Makes me wonder if the technical department may even consider that instances like this may be caused by some bug on player accounts. VOG has been out for some time now, If religious weekly players are still trying to obtain one by now, somethings up. This also applies to eyes of tomorrow and several other drops players have been addressing for some time now. I am one of those lucky to get mine early, but I know three other friends who left the game in frustration because of issues like this.

3 Repliesunfortunately you didnt get it when it was actually good and could use the artifact mod for fusions for more damage now that they nerfed it and we dont have the proper mods for it, its underwhelming...is it worth getting in this season? id say i am not so sure anymore.

15 RepliesYou should try doing full clears. I know bungie added protection for the old raids before they left and also for deep stone. It was at 20 full clears you had a 50/50 chance. Might not be the case for VOG but it is probably better than doing 300+ boss CPs with only 4 full clears.

No way you do that much and it hasn't dropped. Even if you did it all last week which I doubt you did cuz I doubt your just some little kid with no job, try doing other activities it says you haven't even touched another raid. In that case go back to destiny 1 and do it there I'm sure you have the weapon there.

I straight up don't understand it. As another commentator pointed out, they control the numbers. It's not like some cosmic force is forcing Bungie to make its drop rate so abysmal. It's straight up insulting, and it's a long time complaint they need to fix. I purchased the game, I did my end as the co sumer, it's Bungies job as the developer to deliver a fun and engaging raid experience and it's not anymore after +50 runs and no vex. I can't even imagine. I would say I feel your pain but that level of hurt has to be devastating.

Dude. Just run it once per character each week and stop killing yourself over it. It'll come to you when you stop hunting for it. Plus, it wasn't farmable till this season, and that's ONLY if it's the featured raid for the week. Most of those clears you likely did it to yourself.

After 7 full runs I quit. I gave it the Bungie try, no luck so I'm good without it. 🤷♂️
