I don’t get it man. Destiny is not a competitive game. Sure I want the experience to be pleasant and things to be balanced, but I swear it doesn’t matter if I’m playing trials or raiding. The top of the top are so enamored by their stats and egos, carries or clears, that it isn’t fun to play with them. As someone who utilizes LFG a lot, it’s amazing to me how toxic this particular game is. I mean - I love Destiny, and I play a good amount - but god. Even when stepping back and looking at COD or CSGO or Siege, it’s just not the same. There are people who are toxic in a lobby and talk trash, but that’s different from the deep down, [i]I’m better than you attitude[/i] that plagues Destiny. It’s awful, and I have to remind myself that there are good people out there helping out, but Christ man. I’m just here to play, not get insulted and kicked from lobbies because I don’t bow down and foam at the mouth at your 200 flawlesses or raid clears. It’s a -blam!- video game.
