Figures after all this is the official forum so I should also put it here, this post isn't starting an argument on whether I like the earlier patch that added the delayed *nerfs/changes, this is just to show you how your melee builds will work now, and raise some actual bugs after the patch.

[i]Synthoceps = 200%
Synthoceps + Roaring flame*1=230%
Synthoceps + Roaring flame*2=263%
Synthoceps + Roaring flame*3=299% (41% less than pre-patch, 71% less than pre-patch if you combo it with tractor cannon)(11% less than solar2.0, tho all things considered hammer was always up and down in solar2.0)[/i]
[i]Wormgod Caress*1=85% WG*1+Roaring flame*1=103%
Wormgod Caress*2=170%
Wormgod Caress*3=390%
Wormgod Caress*4=520%
Wormgod Caress*5=650% WG*5+Roaring flame*3=665% (extremely low boost from Roaring flame consider it works as a multiplier)[/i]
[i]One-Two Punch = 0%
One-Two Punch + Roaring flame*1= [b]-8%[/b]
One-Two Punch + Roaring flame*2= [b]-16%[/b]
One-Two Punch + Roaring flame*3= [b]-23%(SEVERELY BUGGED, One-Two punch will REMOVE Roaring flame buff AND debuff you if Roaring flame is activated)[/i][/b]

Peregrine Greaves + Roaring flame*1=200%
Peregrine Greaves + Roaring flame*2=200%
Peregrine Greaves + Roaring flame*3=200% [b](BUGGED, Peregrine Greaves does not receive less boost from Roaring flame as patch described, it receives nothing at all, and sometimes activating charge melee with Peregrine Greaves will REMOVE the Roaring flame buff for good)[/b][/i]

Think they've even shadow nerfed the titan slide melee aoe, aslo has anyone noticed even though last wish raid is in rotation non of the armor mods work on the last wish raid armor another nerf not mentioned in the patch notes

Thats some real BS, that is. I get that they dont want perks to stack for broken damage. I tried syntoceps 1-2 punch pre-nerf with shoulder charge and it does around 750.000 damage, enough to kill a champion 7x over, so yeah, i get that it needs a nerf. But giving perk combinations a 0/negative multplier is just moronic. What happened to play how you want to play?!

3 RepliesYa bungie said they were gonna make stacking melee perks weaker to stop high damage numbers it's why you no longer see anyone using one two punch and syntho was meant to get this nerf at the start of the season but took them about 2 weeks to fully implement it

17 RepliesYes. Like bungie said. No more millions of melee damage by stacking broken stuff. I think they are preparing for arc 3.0 to be the melee damage focussed subclass.

Edited by max: 6/15/2022 8:50:01 AMGonna finalize the number on Wormgod Caress with RF, but the point is, it barely stacks with RF and other debuffs like Tractor Cannon, you will only see change on damage when Wormgod Caress is at x1 or x2, as for one-two punch, DO NOT use it with roaring flame at all as one of it will become pure liability, this stays true when you have exotics equipped
