Pinnacle rewards not working correctly
I've received the exact same weapon at the exact same light level 3 times in the past week as my pinnacle reward for various activities, essentially stalling my light level progress. I also just completed my weekly Gambit matches and did not receive any pinnacle reward. I track maxpower items in DIM and all of my current maxpower items are already tagged, so I know it didn't add anything new to my character, vault, or post master.

Gambit drops a +1 Pinnacle reward, which is based on your character's overall base level, not the highest level item you have on the character and not +1 higher than the highest item in the slot it drops for. The only way to get higher level drops in the same slot is by raising your overall level from drops in other slots. For example, if the level of your highest gear in every slot averages out to 1560, the reward would be 1561. If the Pinnacle was a helmet and your highest helmet is at 1562, then you might assume it wasn't the Pinnacle.

Pinnicle rewards go of your gaurdians level minus artifact, not somthing you've already gotten in that slot. You can have a 1568 helmet if your gaurdens level minus artifact is only 1565 your pinnicle will be a 1566 an it can be a helmet depending on how rng is for you.
