Could someone at Bungie please look at the Requirements for buying Enhancement Prisms and Ascendant Shards. Can they look at possibly making them cheaper and more Readily available.
I have three characters I need an average of 30+ Enhancement Prisms to masterwork Armour. I did a grind on the weekend with the Enhancement Prism mod on a Ghost. After running 10 Nightfalls I got 4 Prism's as their not a guaranteed drop. I get that.
Rahool will sell you one if you hand over 400 legendary shards. This is just ridiculous.
Can maybe the staff at Bungie give this some serious attention?
How about just lowering the requirements 100 shards for maybe 1 Prism.
400 for 4 Prism's as a guarantee.
Have an item that constantly increases the chance of an Enhancement Core for a whole strike instead of waiting for one to drop, then going into your inventory to drop another?
This is literally the only thing in D2 that is frustrating me beyond measure at the moment.
We get all this armour per season but the chance of Masterworking it by the end of the season, are very remote.
Sorry about the Rant. I still love the game and everything else you're doing to keep us entertained is frankly Fantastic.
But this one thing, it's really annoying. I felt I had to say something.

You really need to do master and grandmaster NFs. You will be swimming in them. And don’t think you aren’t good enough, just lfg the easy ones, there are 3 easy, 1 pretty easy, 2 hard gms this season.
-
This season has some super easy farmable gms. Hit level and grind away you won’t know where to spend them you’ll have so many.
-
At gm level they puke out the rewards. Lower level nit so much. When gm season hits you'll have more than you can spend

1 ReplyCouldn't read post, too distracted by Jetfire (Skyfire) and clan name. Not enough energon dropping, you say?

I haven’t seen a prism in 3 months, been sitting at 200 and 32 shards since March. No need for them much and they really need to up the enhancement core usage, can’t get rid of them(at 3754 which is the lowest in months).
-
4 RepliesYou get 3 golf balls from the pass plus once from each vendor upon resetting. Master NFs have a chance to drop, they can also drop from trials after your card is full. Then you're gonna have 7 weeks of GMs with guaranteed drops. Rome wasn't built on a single day. Play the game for a few months and you will be drowning in that stuff.
-
2 RepliesRun trials after getting flawless and you get shards pretty frequently on wins. Put the ghost perk on that gives a chance of a prism on headshot kills and you get a ton! Still can be cheaper tho, I will agree! I think GMs are the only other guaranteed shard farm, but we obviously are locked out of that for a while.

Prisms are only an issue if you don’t run master/GM nightfalls at which point they become cancer you can’t get rid of ie I got about 150 of them now despite only trying to farm for them about a year ago. Shards are miserable though because you need shards in 1 to 3 ratios from prisms but can’t stack that high so you will run out of them but not prisms. On boarding new people sucks though. Prisms and mods are obnoxious to get without long term time investment or endgame grind. Imo prisms need to just be deleted from game completely.

Agreed, they cost too much.. I’ve found that if you farm Master Nightfalls, you’ll get lots of those materials. Especially during double reward weeks. You can usually find a lot of LFG posts looking to farm Master. Eyes up:).
-
Lol just earn them in game...
-
That’s why I deleted two characters. Time to start earning materials for an arc set. I should just create two more hunters so I don’t have to switch
-
Ive come to only main one character at this point, I used to have a titan but I don’t have the time to manage 3 characters. I only have my hunter in case bungie decides to screw over warlocks in a way that hunters will be the supreme class for basically everything. We are actually not too far away from that happening so I occasionally pop into my hunter. My suggestion? Main one class and you will be stacked with materials, this game is just too much to manage all 3 classes.

As others have said, the main source for me is master nightfalls and then grandmasters when they become available. I understand not everyone has the time or the will to grind to be able to do grandmasters and then be able to complete them since they are some of the hardest activities in all of destiny, but reaching sufficient level for master nightfalls by the end of the season is totally doable playing somewhat regularly. Arms dealer is in the rotation this season again, which is a quite easy and very fast nightfall to farm during a week

1 ReplyMy method is to wait until the double NF reward week and then grind Master with LFG groups. You can raise you light level to make Master easier and this is quite efficient compared to GMs with LFG groups.

3 RepliesEdited by Twizted1414: 6/14/2022 7:30:57 AMdo gms man, they're not up yet but I've only been playing 2 season and had 40 shards and 200 prisims at the end of both, master nf good while waiting for gms

1 ReplyYou’re supposed to do activities for shards and prisms, not buy them from the vendors. 🤦♂️

I agree
