Why are the spartans in halo reach so weak compared to halo wars?
In halo wars spartans have duel SMGs, chain guns and spartan lasers with strong shields. In halo reach spartans have assault rifles and pistols like marines and are weaker than marines without their energy shields. Seriously, even grunts get better weapons and are stronger than spartan IIIs. Even ODSTs are stronger than spartans and get better weapons than the weak spartan IIIs.

but halo wars was set 20 or so years before halo reach. Therefore they should have better stuff in the future.

maybe if you followed the halo history reach = spartan 3's meaning mass production cheap but not as powerful. as to the ones in halo wars idk but i think they were 2's which is chiefs model... except in opening cutscene .. those are spartan 1's (uber weak ) idk not a spartan nerd just what iv herd .

Because In halo wars those are spartan II's. In halo reach they are spartan III's.
