Lots of old endgame and season weapons need origin traits. Here some ideas.

Since the introduction of origin traits in the Witch Queen, lots of weapons have the problem of feeling similar to each other. They need some love to be an interesting pick for players that seek a little bonus to their gameplay. These are for the weapons that are not Sunset Dreaming city Weapons- Burden of Dreams: Getting kills with the weapon charges it with taken energy, reloading unleashes the energy around the player in a taken burst. Last Wish Weapons- Wishing bullets: Bullets in the mag has a chance to do slightly more damage. Kills grant a better chance for it to activate. Moon Weapons- Unrelenting Nightmare: When the player shield breaks, they gain a damage buff until they begin to regenerate their shield. Garden of Salvation Weapons- Vex Milk: Kills have a chance to leave behind a small pool of radiolaria that damages targets that enter the pool. Prophecy Weapons- The Nine's Guidance: The radar stays on while ADS. Reloading after a kill enhances the radar. Europa Weapons- Prototype overheating: Continuously firing these weapons has a chance to heat the weapon up increasing its fire rate for a short duration. Deep stone Crypt Weapons- Great Builder: Continuously hitting a target has a chance to not spend the shot fired. ( Only counts for one bullet, like one shotgun shot.) Vault of Glass Weapons- Time Skip: Can automatically reload weapon from reserves. (Poor mans autoloading holsters) This part is for the return of the sunset raids and past seasonal weapons ( Note this is just speculation just in case the old raids do return) Leviathan, Eater of worlds, and Spire of stars Weapons- Emperor's Might: Shots from the weapons pass through Cabal shields, Knights wall of darkness and wyvern shields. (Poor mans barrier rounds that doesn't affect barrier champions.) Black armory weapons- Master Gunsmith: Collecting heavy ammo buff damage of the kinetic and energy weapons for a moderate duration. Reckoning weapons- Monster Slayer: These weapons do slightly more damage to majors and bosses than any other weapon.(Ex . Night watch with no perks against a scout rifle of the same archetype would do more damage than the other scout rifles) Crown of Sorrow Weapons- Sorrow Bearer: Kills drop hive soulfire remnants that can be collected. Collecting them slightly improves the stats of the weapon for a short duration. Season of the Undying weapons- Black Hearts guidance: While your super energy is full, gain extra handling, stability, and reload speed. Season of Dawn Weapons- Saints legacy: Kills with these weapon grants a small amount of super energy for each kill. (Poor mans Thresh) Season of the worthy Weapons- Heart of Rasputin: Destroying a warmind cell with these weapons buffs their damage for a moderate duration. Season of Arrivals weapons- Dark Knowledge: Final blows with these weapons increase intellect for moderate duration. (Land Tank Buff, but for intellect). If anybody has any ideas to give these weapons or something to tweak with, don't be scared to comment about it. We need lots of conversations to possible give these weapons a little boost.

    Guardian, Archon Of Light

Archon Priest Of House Light - old

Rewind Rounds sounds like a origin trait, and shouldn't take up a perk slot

  • While I agree that some old weapons should be updated (and craftable), I only really think the raid weapons deserve it. If the old seasonal stuff comes back like the opulent weapons did then whatever. I like your ideas. The only one I’m not sure about is the last wish one. Rng damage isn’t something that bungie wants to do. It’s basically just luck in the chamber from d1, and there’s a reason it’s not in d2. Instead, why not stay with the ‘wish’ theme: dealing damage has a chance to grant a burst of ability energy. I guess similar to how veist stinger activates.
