My friend cannot start/complete the Moon campaign to unlock the destination.
I only recently returned and dragged my friend with me and gifted him the Legacy bundle on Steam. Mostly it was fine with gameplay performance and overall experience. No problem with the WQ campaign or New Light quest at all(we did have problem with NL quest not advancing due to public area filled with randos but it was fixed the other day).
But when we tried to complete the Moon introduction quest "A Mysterious Disturbance", in the ending cutscene where Eris pulled us from the Crota encounter, we both crashed our game at exactly the SAME time. After booting the game again and trying to give it a second try, the quest node is nowhere to be found. There's nothing from Eris or the Quest Archive at all. The Dungeons and Nightmare Hunts are all locked. Eventually my friend got too tired of this BS and stopped playing.
I tried to complete "A Mysterious Disturbance" on my second character, a Titan which had not complete the quest before alone and I too, got the same crash at the same cutscene. When I reopened my game the quest is completed and the following quest node is straight available from Eris.
I have no idea how this can be fixed. My friends is living in China and had problem opening the Ticket submitting page I have from here in Japan.
Managed to help him submit a support request under the selection of "lost access to the purchased content", not really appropriate but no other options really is relatable as this one.
