So, enough of hate against rift and I for one don't like it due to bugs, meta, maps and small pkayerbase with crossplay causing more platform issues than ever before. This post is about how Rift should be played. Feel free to add your thoughts. [b]What is Rift[/b] It's 6 a side, first to score 5 dunks win pvp mode with power advantages disabled. [b]Objective[/b] Take the spark. Protect your runner. Dunk the spark. Kill opposing team prioritising their runner. [b]Gear Tips[/b] Make sure your gear is using pvp mods. Overload grenades and boss damage mods won't help you here. Depending on the guns you use: Add targeting adjuster mods in helmet if needed. Add dexterity or reloading mods in arms. Add unflinching mods in chest if required depending on your play style. Bump up your recovery, intellect, discipline, strength, mobility or whatever depending on your play style. It's a good time to invest in high stat armour from pve activities in the open. [b]Weapon tlTips[/b] Every map is different. Some have more close combat and others have more sniper lanes. Chose whatever you think will help you in each situation, smg, shotty, fusion, sidearm for closed combat and maybe sniper or scout or hand cannon for mid to long range. Up to your play style. Make sure to mod your armour accordingly. I wish bungie had in game loadouts for this but that's another story. [b]Play Tips[/b] Don't be an ape. Play as a team. Solo is 💩 Wait for spark and do a chicken dare with enemy. Snipe the first one to appear Send few ahead to clear the defenders 2 or 3 should go for spark while 1 should provide cover from rand. Pick spark and fall back to regroup wit your covering mate. Advance and take our opposition Make sure to spread out but stay close to runner If you are defending: Just ape on runner if near otherwise Send 2 for runner and the others to kill the runners protectors. Make sure you pick the spark and push back if you kill the runner. Simple but effective. Edit: I have just added a freelance play video of me dunking and team working as a team.
