3 RepliesI'm not good at PvP and never will be, but thanks to the Bungie propaganda in their TWAB stating this should also be more accessible to non-PvP shotgun ape sweatloards I actually thought of trying to give it a shot for the new seal - but then: First match getting loaded into an already going match with my team 0-4 behind. Survived for 5 seconds until getting smacked by some super. Few seconds later the match was (fortunately) over already. The following matches then like: Either get steamrolled and spend most of the time as ghost because the other team has 2 or 3 PvP sweatlords. Or steamroll the other team because you got lucky and got those sweatlords on your team. And how TF should you ever be able to stop the enemy runner if you die in enemy territory and then the other team can pick up the spark, go for lunch break, then score while you just respawned somewhere far away with no way to do anything about it? And to make it extra frustrating, Lord Saladhonk tries to rub it in with his stupid comments like "the enemy runner is about to score - stop him!". And god beware you even have the idea to use one of the non-meta weapons you need to take into crucible to get kills with to unlock its catalyst while you are already here... In Control you had the feeling of being able to help somewhat at least. But in Rift? Nope, no way! I'm doing the daily challenges for the pinnacles until I hit pinnacle cap and then I'm out. For my own sanity I'm not going to bother with this seal any longer until this hot dog water mode is gone.

So i got in a game against premades. After they capped 1 spark, one of them just got the spark while the rest of them farmed us until the match finished.

3 RepliesI have just learned that the new iron banner emblem and shader are in the second track of the rank system. That means you have to reset it once, then get all the way to a second reset to get those rewards. Remember, progress resets each season, so they're expecting people to get this in just 2 weeks out of a 3 month season. Even with all the gear equipped for maximum rank multiplier, it's still a pathetic 130xp or whatever, which means it'll take an absurd amount of grinding. Did you really need to make every rank track 10k points? Trials shouldn't and that's available more often than banner. I've played far more than I can stand so far and i'm only at like 2200 points. This is going to be so -blam!- painful and might not even get done, which could mean the emblem and shader get replaced with different ones next season. Ugh.

I'd like more maps in rotation. I've done convergence 3x, the new map 3x and bannerfall 5x. All consecutively. It's really boring playing the same thing over and over even though there are 3 other maps.

I must admit I was positively surprised today having reached new levels of game fun and pure joy. [i]Obviously I am predispositioned for some masochism.[/i] Hence why today I decided to give it another 5 games for the third pinnacle. I was sure it could not get worse than the first 7 games. Well, I was proven wrong. But I want to be fair. The 4 IB pinnacles require less effort than in the old IB. You must just be willing to stay in game and see your - anyway abysmal - KD plummet to never seen before lows. Take care!

2 Repliesi HATE!! crucible/IB (yes im trash no not mad cuz i'm bad and cant be arsed to get gud) but suffer it for my pinnacles once a week. i didn't think i could hate it more than i already did but i was wrong, rift sucks big time and boring AF. and to top it off we got stuck in a transmat loop when the clock hit zero same time we transmated i pmsl

If anyone played rift in D1, they know that this version is so bad. Not to mention there are so many glitches with rift right now, but the general gameplay is worse than D1 rift.
