Wow - a lot of negativity here. Let’s remember one thing guys - when someone purchases the dungeon it should be playable- period. The Atari 2600 had levels - why on earth can’t Bungie make an easier version with less loot for those that just want a basic experience? Heck even a strike out if it with matchmaking - this elitist attitude has to stop - you’re not great because you can beat a video game in hard mode lol

"A game not made for everyone shouldn't be made at all" argument basically at all. It is playable. Playable does not equal you are entitled to beat it. You are entitled to try it.

It is just a game. And games can be challenging and release content that tests and pushes the player to get better. You don't like that don't buy it. You are making the exact same dumb argument people complained about Elden Ring. *eye roll*

Tests and pushes the player to get better - at what exactly? lol I'm sorry - I don;t need a game to test and push me at anything - I play games to unwind and have some fun - I don't need a game to add value to any accomplishments I may have - real life can and should satisfy that. If you're looking for that in a game then maybe try challenging yourself more in real life. There is zero reason that a game can't include different levels of difficulty. For those that have no life. And for those that do. If it doesn;t, that's called arrogance.

The drive for more depth in gaming has started to increase again. There is a sizeable population that doesn't want to turn their brains off 24/7 and instead want to be challenged. You don't want to, that's your business, kindly mind your own business and stay to the content you like.

It’s not all or nothing here. A good developer considers these things and doesn’t promote elitist toxicity by making content that is paid for inaccessible. And making those that can complete it feel superior for shooting pixels and sprites in the right order while stepping on a switch. More than one point can be true. More than one opinion can exist. Okay, lets see the latest biggest twitch/gaming surges in players and revenue the past 2 months: Elden Ring, a Fromsoft game that beat god dang CoD in sales. FFXIV's Dragonsong War Ultimate Raid Race had over 100k+ viewers and peak player count post 5 months after an expansion for an MMO that's known to be hard to stream. Did I mention this is easily one of the hardest raids in gaming, with World's first not being recorded until 6 days post release and world's first STEAMED clear took 10 days? Levels are optional, it's up to the devs if they want to add it or not. The Dungeon is not very hard. The mechanics are so easy I was able to explain them to a 1530 through text chat in sub 2 minutes. Hell, with just some build crafting you could easily face tank everything. Heaven's forbid you turn your brain on, maybe you should go play Candy Crush instead.
