Can't unlock void subclass for Hunter at Ikora
At first was having problems with "Riding the Storm" quest not able to be turned in on my hunter. I gave up and logged off for the night. Woke up and I no longer have "Riding the Storm" in my quest log. I have the Solar and Arc subclasses unlocked, but my character sheet just shows "Unfocused Void Energy" and tells me to speak to Ikora to unlock this subclass. All Ikora has for me is the "Grow Your Light" menu, showing Void and Solar, but no Arc. I can purchase Void abilities, but the Melee "Snare Bomb" will not apply when meditating. It's stuck on "Meditate to receive new subclass abilities" even though I've already purchased it. Not that it matters, since I've been trying to get the Void subclass for two days now and keep running into problems. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Exactly the same issue here. Re-rolled my hunter. Ikora gave me the Arc intro quest - Arc unlocked (although Ikora won't accept and close the Arc intro quest). Before offering me a corresponding void intro quest - or in any way allowing void to be unlocked, I couldn't care less how - Ikora moved on with her life. On the Tower she turned into a Witch Queen fragment etc. vendor. As little Chance getting her to finish up the intro quest as you'd be to get service for a Commodore 64, or get Radiohead to play 'Creep'. She's sooo over all that void stuff. I've written some angry posts about this shazbut elsewhere, but what's the point. Just, Bungie please fix this. l legitimately ove this game. It's not just this bug, it's the way you're dealing - failing to deal - with it.

My issue is for the void melee ability on my hunter. It says I bought it but when I go to meditate it's not giving me the ability. I'm not sure if this may be the same occurrence for everyone else.

Same here, thought it was a glitch like when I made a titan and the titan didn't have a super or a grenade ability, so I deleted my hunter for a second time and restarted, still same thing, as well as it being stuck with snare bomb being stuck on meditate.

3 RepliesSame Ikora doesn't give any new quest even after buying most void fragments the melee one is glitched too cand meditate for it.

I have no void subclass on my hunter that I made when I got the game from the original release.

I'm also having this issue. Remade my Hunter to be an Exo. And ran into this. Some of my Solar Fragments are locked despite buying and meditating too.

Having the same issues.Ikora didn't give me the quest needed for nightstalker unlock. I came back to destiny 2 after more than a year and loaded up my hunter that I made long back when we still had access the to main campaign which I didn't finish.I had only unlocked 2 subclasses gunslinger and arc strider back then. I was doing some quests on the moon and remembered that there is an another subclass and i came to know that subclass unlocks have changed and that I can unlock it by talking to ikora in the tower I went to the tower and talked to ikroa and she didn't give any quests just an option to mod gunslinger subclass.My void class was locked out and said that i hadn't acquired it yet.Googled and learned that I have to do the new light quest to get the subclass related quests from ikora.So i decided to do the newlight quest. I was sent back to the tower as a part of the quest chain and interacted with the main NPCs once again I didn't get the quest from ikora.So I progressed further did the strike and then got the quest for the exotic from zavala and went back to ikora still no quest. Dont know if messed up interacting with ikora out of turn also read some posts in reddit where people claimed that they got the quest while doing some random activity.Anyone had any luck with that? Sorry for the very long post.

Same thing here, I deleted a old hunter because I wanted to change the race to Exo, spent around 20 hours and I unlocked arc but it does not let me unlock void. not even in another character (titan)

2 RepliesMade a second hunter class, unlocked arcane subclass but can’t turn the quest in and start the void one. I’ve tried everything from restarting my game, clearing game cache. Taking banner off and on. Nothing works. Love that we haven’t heard anything about this topic Bungie is the best!!!

1 ReplyBetween the UI and quest tracking breaking constantly it was honestly so hard to tell if I was just not understanding something. I'm having this exact same issue. I fear the only fix will be to start a new character. Started new character last week. about 20 hours into it and still no Void subclass because Ikora will not allow me to pick up the quest and the "Meditation" does not unlock the bits of the subclass I've purchased. Wack.

2 RepliesSame issue here. We going to get any response? This is a huge issue. You can't even use the solar subclass that they start you with! You have to BUY every single ability, grenade, fragment and aspect. And some of them are over 20k glimmer a pop. For a new player that's literally not even possible.
