The Final Shape is..
“That which remains when all that can be removed has been removed.”
For those of you who still believe the Final Shape is a big load of nothing. It’s absolutely something. It’s the highest and strongest form of life remaining after all else has faded and died.
WE will be the Final Shape. WE will be the only ones standing when everything that can be removed from the board has been removed from the board.

Personally I think the final shape will be an irregular circle. Maybe they could troll us and have it be final shapes, and have a big triangle around said circle. From all I have read in the lore I reckon this is the only plausible answer. Not convinced? What shape is the traveler? A 3D circle? Coincidence, I think not…

6 RepliesThe final shape is a concept; an ideology. It’s when all that remains is what has willed itself to. We don’t have to subscribe to that ideology. In fact, by forming alliances and proving that only through unity and togetherness can we ascend, we will prove the winnower wrong.

2 RepliesTo achieve finality is to become the last person or thing standing. I believe that the Witness hasn't achieved finality yet, which is why he is now on the offensive and wants to kill the traveller, because my theory is that there is another of his kind residing within it.

Having the same '4D' visual properties of a Lovecraftian god (Cthulhu for example). Our Guardian stares at it and instantly we become insane, leading to our game eventually breaking down and becoming buggier and buggier until the game and reality collide together. Resulting in physical bugs that start manifesting from our game consoles/PC's in real life. The end.

Based on various lore that bungie has dropped over the years, the final shap will be communalism. That's why in the flower game, flowers that formed communities were allowed to live. That's also why humanity is making alliances with various species like the cabal and Eliksne. I think that's also why we see the vex converting other creatures and planets into vex, because they likely came to this conclusion as well. Also this would explain why they are sometimes referred to as the "Vex Collective" because while it 1 species they are made out of countless species That's been converted.

4 RepliesWill you, or the guardian still be standing at the heat death of the universe? Just a being "floating" around among the dust of the universe? The final shape isn't a being or physical thing, imo, it's the encapsulation of the entirety of everything, there is nothing that can exist in any form without it being the shape of the universe/multiverse; the one that IS (already is, has been, and will be) holding the reigns has already put you on a path, you are a savior for humanity, none will be able to challenge that in the long run. We are not the final shape, just a means to the shape...we will forget, we will learn, we will shape again...rinse, repeat.

The Witness however, has twisted the meaning of the Winnowers will because The Witness hates the very idea of existence because although there beautiful moments in it, it revolves around conflict and suffering for SOMEONE. The idea of a winner means there has to be a loser. The Witness wants to undermine the wager and end everything. The winnower will not allow this and even mentions in P53 that those who use the very force that's supposed to level the playing field (darkness is a neutral force for anyone who proves their strength) to cheat the "game" must be "punished with a violence in proportion to its own success." It asks if we are an agent of the Darkness or an agent of the light. This is trick question though, because BOTH need us to stop the Witness so the wager can continue. The Final Abyss means the Winnower nor Gardener can be right. The Final Shape will not be us as the last beings alive, but rather we are the last thing standing in the way of the Witness after defeating all of our enemies and forging alliances and proving our right to exist. The Final Shape is a massive alliance declaring existence at any cost whereas the Witness declares nothingness. The Final Shape is what stands in the way of the Final Abyss.

Well the final shape could also be a concept. Look at the pattern that the vex follow. There is no proof that it is tangible, and yet the vexes goal is to make themselves the final shape, making the pattern the final shape too. They are just going by it by a different means

1 ReplyCalling it rn. The final shape is all races together. So all the races are split but together they’ll make a shape(ally w/humanity against the witness) or something like that. I personally think that’s predictable if they did that but we’ll see.
