Dungeon keys
Dungeon keys are a massive L and never should've been a thing people already spend alot of money on dlcs and bungie definitely makes money off the season pass this is just ridiculous.

It was known when the WC was announced dungeons were part of the deluxe or will be sold separate.

2 RepliesHeh I'm a cheapskate and could care less about them selling the content they WORKED to make. Just be a smart consumer and buy the deluxe witch queen and it costs zero. It's good content. Expecting it to be created for free is silly. How many battle passes have you bought that come with no content?

4 RepliesThe new dungeon has a full set of weapons, a set of armor, exotic ship, exotic weapon alongside a catalyst quest, and a seal. $10 for that and the activity itself seems fair to me honestly.

When Destiny started under Activision, there were plans for major content releases at a very fast pace that Bungie just couldn't keep up with. So the compromise, brought on by Bungie, was to start selling cosmetics. Then they added season passes that were almost DLC's, armory/drifter/opulence. (with a couple of the worst received DLC's just before then that could have almost been seasons as well). This was still under Activision, so the drive to sell might have still been due to their influence. Now, fast forward to enough time passed to consider Bungie free of Activision's influence. They still have cosmetics, still have seasons, and now they have separate dungeons. Bungie might have learned what they do now from Activision, but they are to blame for it now. They could have changed direction, but they haven't. If anything, they keep pushing the line of how little they can do and still retain paying players. The cosmetic book for solstice, dungeons, who knows what's next. I don't blame a company for wanting to earn profits, but I do believe that there's a point where it's no longer a mutual relationship and the customers are just being taken advantage of. I don't feel like they're selling me new, great things. I feel like they're shaving things off and selling them separately to increase profits on the same content they produced before.

With how amazing Duality is, I am more than willing to dish out a bit of extra money for it. I always said, if it's a bit more money Bungie needs to make really good content, with really good loot, then I will pay. If it's worth it then I have no problem giving some money. Duality is 100% worth $10. It is arguably the best dungeon they have ever put out. Having said that, I believe the actual seasonal content SHOULD NOT suffer because of this. The dungeon is extra money and it is separate from the season, so we should get more than a public event on the Leviathan for the seasonal activity. I am hoping the next dungeon is as good as Duality, and I really hope the season that drops along with it has more than what we have for this current season.

Make vog free and about the next raid. Umm keep the keys in mind. -blam!- money grubby scum. They should actually give a -blam!- about the community and make less pay walls. But oh well most of us are getting going to buy and they get shitloads of money. It’s a good thing it’s both dungeons, but another 20 bucks a year for dungeons.

It is worth the wait for the money saved. They also have really good buyer protection, so if the key doesn’t work, you can request a new one, or get a refund.

6 RepliesWe used to get a single dungeon included with each major expansion. Now we get two, for either $20 or included with each major expansion (deluxe edition). Would you rather just get a single dungeon? I usually buy the deluxe editions anyways, so it’s a good deal for me🤷🏻♀️

They are just a different name for “access” You would have to buy the new dungeon anyway.
