The host in Forge can look down in monitor mode and continue looking down when switching back to player mode. I'm not sure how to tell in Matchmaking
Posted by: Crunk N DaTrunk Bungie doesnt tell you anything about connection, they hide the actual pings, and hide the actual host, because they dont want players knowing just how unfair and bad their matchmaking / netcode is. They know if they put green bars everywhere kids will be none the wiser and keep buying their -blam!- garbage games
oh my god its you again, fix your connection and GO AWAY
-
I believe you can tell who is host by seeing whoever spawns first, that is how it was in H3, not sure about Reach though. It is also pretty difficult to see who spawns first by the way. Good luck :P

When they quit, you go into black screen :P
Posted by: Crunk N DaTrunk The host player and players living closer to the host can melee from a range 3 times yours, have 100% shots count, warp and teleport, and are immune to most melees and shots and have less autoaim on them. Good old Bungie!
yep.
Posted by: Crunk N DaTrunk Oh and host players can have bullets hit them in the head and spray blood everywhere but not die, and shoot you through walls.
Serious ?

If it was Gears 2, I'd say the host is whoever is winning.
-
