I'm experiencing the same exact issue this user on reddit is experiencing. Consistently, every time I roam the Forgotten Shore for the Vendetta mission, I get a message saying that there was an error connecting to Bungie servers, and that it's reconnecting. Then it reconnects me, and I am replaced further back in the canyon. Here, two scenarios happen. 1. If I already began the quest and opened the first cache closest to the quest flag, it registers that I never opened it, but I can't interact with it. I can't move on. I can't interact with any of the other caches. I've tried shutting down the game, restarting the computer, clearing cache, everything. Nothing works. Sometimes - and I have no clue what does it - I'll restart and my progress was cleared and I can try again. But then it disconnects again. 2. If I hadn't begun the quest yet, I start it and I can't interact with the first cache at all. No matter what I try. Even though I know I should be able to interact with it given my previous attempts. This was going on all last night after the update and I delayed in posting a ticket because I figured someone else would surely have the same issue, and while they clearly do, nobody I've seen has brought it to Bungie's attention. So that's what I'm doing now. In the meantime, I guess I'll just be racking up my XP and glimmer.
