The Last Chance Mission Bug
Can't start the first encounter of this mission ever since the update went live the destination marker never properly updates and where you put the first rally banner down there is no enemies there that spawn please help?

Start the mission and run into the zone where there is the "block" of matter that you need to destroy. (Check out a walkthrough video to get to that point if you don't know where to go) 2. A knight with a sword should spawn in. Kill it and and then grab the sword. 3. Use the sword to break the "block" which will unlock the reveal orb. 4. Use the reveal orb to gain [i]Deep Sight[/i] 5. Turn around and run back the way you came to get to where you spawn in for the mission. 6. Wait for the prompt on the bottom left of your screen to change showing that you entered a new zone. 7. Turn around and go back into the mission zone. If done correctly you will get a new objective notification and also hear the dialogue for the mission.

1 ReplyWORKING FIX: 1. When you load into the throne world take your sparrow along the right side path to the quest location. 2. You will see a deep sight beacon along the way. Activate it and get to the quest flag. 3. Activate the quest while you have deep sight. The quest will load in as intended and there will be no need to backtrack.

I'm having a similar issue. I'm receiving no voice lines at all. I managed to get to the first boss encounter but, after placing down my Rally Flag, nothing happened. No darkness, no boss, nothing.

9 Replies[b]UPDATE:[/b] Got a fix - you can run into the mission and get the first sword dude to spawn - kill him, destroy the block, activate the 'magic eye' sight, then run back OUT of the instance, you'll get an 'objective update' .. if you run back in, you'll have reset the instance and get the voice-over lines .Worked like a charm, and likely explains why many are getting inconsistent results!

Also running into this issue. Don't get any dialogue lines at all. I tried some of the suggestions here, but no luck unfortunately. Bungie please help. My progress is stuck now.

Running into this issue as well. Even had friend start mission for me, no dice. On both difficulties it doesn't work.

3 RepliesSame here as well. Went all the way through, no enemies, no objective updates. Got into Witch Queen late, so this kinda blows that I can't complete the mission now.
