Sadly, it was another exotic conjured up, just to sell the season.

I put it up there with some of the worst exotics in the game. Not fun to use at all until you get the volley ready....then it becomes slightly useable.

2 RepliesYeah it's pretty bad, I used it a couple times to make sure I was using it correctly and both fire modes were awful against everything. Too much for a rank-and-file enemy and too weak for majors and above. Not for me thanks.

It's really not supposed to be a DPS monster. All exotics are usually designed to have a gimmick and just be niche fun to mess with. I'm sure we have all dreamed of using a cabal colossus launcher. Would have made more sense if it came as a missile backpack though.

For the way it works it really needs to explode on impact or else have soft target punch through so you can shoot through enemies who are in a line.It's irritating that the weapons and abilities are so much better in warframe but the general maneuverability is better in destiny.

Rate of fire too slow, wind up too slow, after that, pretty solid weapon.

Incorrect. Against slow targets, it's easily one of the best options. With Actium War Rig, it's practically cheating.

I'm not a fan of the idea that every Exotic must be a killer Weapon [i](I know you're not saying this, just specifying my opionion here)[/i], but this is just a personal preference. That being said, Grand Overture it's not great for damage, but I find it a very funny Weapon to use. It's one of those Exotic that I like to use to troll around while having fun doing small things.

Aside from it's horrible initial control and horrible travel time it's currently the strongest machine gun in the game Xenophage after the change might beat it but that remains to be seen

Same idea.horrible. also slow and clunky. Thunderlord does same job much better and give me more fun. (Plus which weapon has so se.xy bullet sound effect?)

Instead of implementing an entirely different exotic, Bungie could have just let Heir Apparent swap modes between arc and solar. A colossus might have the vault space and available slots on their character to lug around two different weapons, but guardians have way too much loot as it is. And every season this amount only continues to pile up beyond capacity.

Its a fun weapon, I love it. I do wish it was more viable for end game though. But supposedly the dps is great. Idk, Ima take one for the team and attempt to use it in a GM next season.

3 RepliesOddly enough when Aztechross did damage testing, it actually came out on top of all lmgs followed by xeno and thinderlord in 3rd. The only thing I'd like to see is a buff to projectile velocity and maybe give 2 rockets per hit instead of 1.

It’s a love it or hate it weapon. Personally, I love it and can’t wait for them to fix the missiles on Tuesday. Carried me through solo legend campaign with very few issues. The gun’s weird but has great burst DPS and crowd control utility. I see it mostly as a utility weapon with efficient ammo economy and passable DPS. Not the best gun in the world, but far from the worst.
