Unfortunately, I am not a top .4% player or .1% so ELO no longer works as the matcher. It's basing it on K/D now. If I was a .4%+, then I wouldn't be having this issue.

Funny you should say that I should look up their stats. It's almost like I said they were .05/.06 K/D away from mine in the [b]first[/b] paragraph. The entire qualm is that at a 1.1 vs 1.15/6, the skill is similar on paper, but the ELO history is most definitely not when they're actually in the top .4% whereas I am in the top 9%. If I had time to tank my k/d by a solid .3 and reverse boost it easily, then that'd be amazing. It's that entire unlucky part that makes things frustrating to play this playlist. Yet when it comes to Trials, I have been able to easily go flawless with one other guy sometimes as a three stack. If I could get that lucky in comp, I'd be golden, but I will be perpetually stuck right around 4300 with the luck of the draw as is.

A tip I can give is don't try to play the meta (Hear me out here) because if you aren't comfortable with it it will do more harm than good Me and my friends when to 5500 5 times and we used the team composition of one backlaner with 2 vanguards up front. It worked for us, all I can say is. Keep playing with your friends, you will get better and improve. Find the hidden niches and if not maybe i can help out. I don't mind

I usually try to play off meta if that's what you're suggesting. My go to loadout has been a Monarque with Ignition Code. Occasionally use the empowering combo just to scare them off, but the primary function is to pop them back into cover and use the IC with prox nades to hit them when they run around a corner to hide. Monarque is definitely a top thing in the meta right now, mostly in trying to counter Lorelei or being used with Lorelei. Not as prevalent as 140s or shotguns, though. The recent shift I've been making and it's been working is pairing the Battler with a Peacebond or using a DMT when we get maps like Eternity or Vostok to get that distance accuracy. I usually try to use more offbrand weapons combos rather than the big contenders. 140s just don't feel as good to me. I'd appreciate it if you could, my guy. Reaching the wits end with blueberries and poor luck matchmaking.

I can see a weakness with the ignition code/Le monarque. Due to how accurate you need to be with an opponent (Namely hunters) that are quick, you might have difficulty to take advantage of the burst damage. I can circumvent le monarque with: - Wormhusk crown - Titan overshield - Healing rift Player behaviour usually tends to hold onto healing mid battle since that will be the biggest opening mid brawl. The 2 primaries with the battler and Peacebond is good to starve them from ammo. I used to run battler/Forerunner. If you played halo you will adjust to it quickly. Me and my friends are above average so we can try if you want. I think as you said you may have better luck with a 3 stack or partner in general. That's usually what gets things is the Wormhusk or overshield, but honestly rifts and overshields don't usually offset things to a great extent. One burst of peacebond is enough to break a titan overshield, and if they re-peak without health regen, then it usually doesn't save them. Had a few instances where ignition code kills them through their barrier and overshield, which is what is really terrifying sometimes. Wormhusk is probably the only hard counter when it's dueling for me, but other than that not many people know how to deal with the odd combo. I think today is probably going to be my only large time here. Going to the high school graduation here, but afterwards it'll be free game before I go back tomorrow and finish out the school year. A couple hours here and there, but this will be the only shot I have since I neglected comp after the abysmal luna's howl grind back in the day. That and being a steam player may not work out pairing wise unless you're cool dealing with PC players.

I mean, I played pc lobbies and they take some adjusting but I don't mind trying. Is your xbox broken or did you switch to pc when cross save became available?
