I mean,
Let's just look at the armor set & dungeons.
A single armor set in EV cost 1500 silver. ($15) That's a legendary helm, arms, chest, legs, & class item.
A brand new dungeon in EV cost 2000 silver. ($20) This comes with the dungeon, 3 full legendary sets of armor, 4 new legendary weapons, 2 reprised legendary weapons, An exotic weapon w/ cat ( yes, you get a cat), a ship or sparrow, and 2 emblems.
How the hell is the development costs to create an entire new dungeon & full loot table translate to a $20 price tag, but the development costs to create an entire new armor set translates to a $15 price tag???!!!?? In what world do these EV prices make any sense???
Disclaimer: I'd purchase a lot more items from EV if the prices were comparable to the product's quality being purchased.

They wouldn’t do it if players didn’t buy the stuff. People keep buying for some reason. Hell they don’t even feel the need to have sales because players buy NQA.
-
1 ReplyYeah they could slash armor costs by like 90% and probably make triple the money from how many people rush to buy at a reasonable price point.
-
Money hungry companies.
-
It’s just comical.
-
At this point, the company is just a joke. These people make Madoff and Enron look respectable.

1 ReplyShort answer, greed

If the Eververse prices were actually reasonable, I might actually purchase something from there. But 8€ for one finisher ain't that. Just looking at Warframe, it's like day n' night - recently I purchased skin (ornament) in there for 1€.

Last time I checked (hope it's changed) , Destiny's economy was designed by art graduate.... You have your answer right there...

5 Replies2 Dungeon = 20

1 ReplyBecause this company is the greediest developer I have ever seen
-
2 RepliesUmmmm think about it genius…. The eververse store costs help offset a cheaper dungeon cost…. Also, let’s not forget that a modern day movie theater ticket is $10-$15 for 2 hrs of entertainment whereas a dungeon provides easily 10-30 hrs of enjoyment depending on how hard u grind for certain items.
-
1 Replythe dungeon price is totally fair, and since you can't read you buy 2 dungeons for 2000 silver not 1, you choose to not buy the deluxe a you problem
-
3 RepliesYeah, I don't know. $20 for the dungeon key (if it includes all dungeons or just include it in the season pass of said season) is fine. But $8 finishers and $15 armor sets are a joke. I'd pay $15 if it included all 3 class sets.

*Bungie adjusts the dungeon price to 5000 silver*
-
Bulk discount.
-
The devs churn out the stuff. It's Bungie's whoever that does the pricing.
-
I’ve said it before. If they reasonably priced things, like maybe 1 or 2 bucks for an emote/finisher, people would buy them more. But then again, people buy them at the price they are now..so why would they change it?
-
Bungie hears you. Dungeons will increase in cost as requested!

The EV items are purposely inflated compared to actual content for the sake of making a profit. If it wasn't making enough then they would likely have lowered it, or put them on sales (which I think they do to a small capacity), in order to meet demand.
