Special ammo changes won’t do anything

Let’s be honest Scavenger mods and stompees are not the reason shotguns are so overused. I haven’t run scavenger mods in a long time and can still get an insane amount of shotgun kills with minimal effort in my pvp. Even without stompees. Hell my last game today was a join in progress at 85 score I still ended with 16 shotgun kills On rusted lands. The problem is that shotguns /fusions are legit too easy and mindless. And ability spam keeps primaries from seeing any use

    • As one person said "it's easier to close in the distance, then it is to keep'em at arms length," the chance alone of a 1 hit kill is going to make a lot of players drop anything that isn't going to do the same, movement exotics (all of 'em, not just stompees), are not the heart of the problem, but they do play a role... so why not reverse it? rather then increasing sprint speed, have it lightly increase strafe and noticeably increase backpadel speed, it will still punish bad placement, but if we have some room behind us, we would actually be able to bait an ape. Fighting against a fusion needs a methodical strategy in a chaotic round, but there is too much you need to do in a short time to fight back against a fusion, no one in a 6v6 or rumble is going to give you enough time to succsessfully bait out a players 2 shots ( or more ), chase them down if they run, and finally kill them knowing that you're at some point going to have to do it ALL OVER again, I like how fusions work but in PvP, they're a deathstare, insta-wipe boss mechanic if you don't play perfectly.

          I personally think fusions are worse than original stasis in terms of their overall effect on everything.
