DMT hipfire on console still AWFUL!!
They’ve nerfed DMT several times effecting console way worse and then reduced the hip rate of fire. Its almost impossible to get a hipfire crit and is impossible to get several in a row with bloom. You have to be absolutely perfectly centered on the head to register. This is true in PVE & PVP. It really ruins the idea of the gun to not be able to hipfire at all. Regular ADS is good, its just hipfire that is so bad for a gun designed to embrace it.

1 ReplyIt’s actually perfect. It’s just not as good as mnk. But that’s a good thing because dmt is one of the most used weapons in pvp on pc. Do you really want every player you go up against to be using dmt?

Oh no you have to aim to hit, that's terrible. You have plenty of weapons that will almost 180 just by hitting the aim button anywhere near an enemy, use those weapons.

It ain’t bad. You can’t get the crazy long hip fire shots like PC but I use it on widows court to supplement my long range shots.

1 ReplyUsed it to go flawless last weekend with a smg and I’ve only ever used it for like 5 games before that. Don’t know what it was like before or on pc but it’s the best scout by far and really amazing.

It isn’t any better on PC dude. 70% of the time the hipfire shots don’t even register and most of them are bodyshot damage when I clearly have the reticle upon their head.

even with aim down sights it just refuses to hit headshots despite shooting the head.

The bullets don't go where you aim on mnk either it has reverse aim assist and pulls towards body shots. Compare this to last word turning stomach shots into head shots as long as you are on controller lololol

1 ReplyI personally use it as a scout rifle and do just fine with it. When enemies are too close I whip out my smg to melt them. I cant use the DMT i n its hip fire mode, it just feels awkward and it feels terrible especially when you are firing at someone and the aim assist goes towards anyone else nearby the enemy you are shooting at.

Honestly I just moved to the BXR it feels so much better and crispier and I don't give up the exotic slot

4 RepliesWhenever I used dmt I never hipfire the gun unless I was getting aped and didn't have shotty ammo. That play style with dmt hasn't changed even with nerfs and buffs. Remember going flawless a few times using dmt on bannerfall and it was capture zone. Probably the easiest flawless games I had.
