They need to make it so your kills/KD are not tracked in your global stats.
Just make it objective only. Kills/kd all that stuff just leave them out of rift that way people can go in and just play the objective.
Rift in D1 was all about spawn trapping to boost your KD and if they get rid of the stat tracking for it, then it SHOULD reduce the spawn trapping nonsense hopefully.

Take the function of how joining games late disables stat penalties for that game and rewrite a little bit of it to apply to all iron banner games and to activate from the start of the game. I'm sure it's not as easy as it sounds but overall it sounds like it would be the easiest option for them to take. Once they've got it working good for iron banner since thats where rift will be at next season they can move on to making it apply specifically to rift so that iron banner modes can rotate

Thoughts?[/quote] Actually a really a good idea. Kill the incentive for people to use it as a farming mode and the chances they’ll do so are heavily diminished.

Yeah this is true. People would play the objective a lot more if they didnt have to worry about tanking their stats.
