For those not familiar with Rift from D1. Buckle up for some spawn trapping and spawn killing unless a major revamp has transpired. Rift was actually the feature game mode for IB once in D1 and the forum burned with player complaints. The way the game mode plays is that when you die you respawn at your rift. Your opponents simply camp your Rift and obliterate immediately after you spawn in. A well coordinated team have a couple players that grab the spark while the rest spawn trap the enemy team. Dunk the spark and few times and it’s game over. We shall see if changes were made from the D1 version.
