Gaurdian Games what a waste of time
What is the point of playing GG. There is no way to get into the top 10% when you play fairly. Using work arounds to get -blam!- scores, brilliant, but if you didn't use this method to get huge scores there is no way to catchup and get top[ 10 so why waste time trying?
I don't blame people for using this method to get ahead, it's just another stupid Bungie decision at being smart -blam!-'s. Trying to make us compete against each other and not against the game.
So congrates Bungie, stick your GG's where they fit, I think I am finally done with D2

7 RepliesHaven't even played it and won't lol ... I learned my lesson with Bungie events five years ago. Don't participate because they don't matter ... plus, now they charge us for events we got for free in D1.

2 RepliesThe emblem thing for the 10% was a mistake from the start. You should never make content that’s elitist in nature like that. Beside that gg is actually well developed this year. It’s actually rewarding, has a weapon worth farming, and the training/competitive playlist has actual good drop rates for the nightfall weapons and exotics. The competition part is still dumb and it should be a celebration of the classes and not a fight but beyond that it’s an improving event.

16 RepliesFor me it is and isnt. I dont care for the event and it could have been better but I am able gain my shards and materials back. The armor should not have been in Eververse and there should have been a weapon for each activity.

I like all the Enhancement Cores and Legendary Shards from breaking down the countless useless legendaries. But I would rather look forward to something fun instead of resource farming. Also. SSSOOOOO many people are like me and play all three characters. Couldn't care less who wins when you play everyone.

I'm in the top 10% without cheesing, not my doing, my blueberry team mate scored 300k. Not everyone cheeses.

Participate or not is up to you. You're gonna fight that hard over an emblem? If you want to farm hard, I'd suggest the first 3 weeks of the new season.

This game cant handle a true competitive experience, just look at trials, iron banner, control lol. No one plays fair, its no brainer players will abuse pve as well. I never bother with anything anymore, I’ve been playing for fun and Ive come a long way. I no longer get frustrated at the BS.

Edited by Joulevette12: 5/11/2022 3:28:12 AMHonestly I say just farm brightdust for next season that's all I say to do but it looks like they nerf the amount you get to how you previously use to get This season was ok but they ended it way too early and they need to better with weapon rolls on one year events these are the main weapons that need to stick out among seasonal weapons due to coming once a year How can you bring a one year event with a weapon with mediocre rolls
