Resetting cards and farming for wins and stats. 7 continuous wins should put them in the flawless pool wether they have reset there card or not
What they are doing is acting like Gatekeepers to the genuine players that are trying to go flawless and Bungie really should do something to stop these stat farmers.

26 RepliesTrials should be playing against the same skill base or a little higher like top 0.1%-1% , 2%-5% ect. reason being you cant expect a bottom or top 90% to get better by getting sh*tted on by a way better player overnight I understand trials is end game pvp but simply saying get better isn't that reasonable of answer when expecting someone that is already terrible at pvp is to get better in a reasonable time to even stand a chance against better and god teir pvp players even flawless players who are not 1% or better dont want to get match up constantly with .9 or better players constantly because there is still a skill gap and it won't change in a week so why expect that from players who have the same skill gap or bigger who are not even in the top 10%

2 RepliesThe only viable solution is to remove the flawless pool. If you create a system designed to make it EASIER for lower skilled players to go flawless, it will be exploited by higher skilled players, this creates a negative experience for all players.

11 RepliesI vote for getting rid of trials. The mode is hot garbage. It's lost its prestige over the years, it's not what it used to be nor will it ever return to that state.
-
I've spent too much on this game already (80+ dollars per year) so no witch queen for me either
-
Which is why i stopped paying for trials.
-
1 Replysaint 14 tell us to make you cry. His command we must follow
-
Elimination is boring that's what trials is. Crucible already has that mode yet bungie makes it weekend event. That's some redundant crap seriously. Maybe bungie needs get rid of trials do something different.
-
1 ReplyWhy I literally stopped playing the mode. Not worth feeding a mode that should have SBMM. Put on a show and basically do nothing if the match is unfair. Usually can tell after the first round. Get my pve loot and dip.
-
8 RepliesResetting on a flawless card is gaming the system. It should result in an escalating ban. Treated the same as leaving a game early.
-
9 RepliesThis isn't a hard problem to solve. The api keeps track of all this. Get 1 of their people to sit down n filter based on wins with no flawless n losses. Set those accounts to permanently be in the flawless pool no matter what and wipe their kd/stats. These people should just be punished.
-
9 RepliesThat would upset the streamers and after all it’s a game for streamers not us
-
I got my Desperado Messenger and my Exile's Helm. I'm good with staying the hell out of Trials. Let the game mode become a graveyard for all i care. God-tier pvp players wanna gatekeep? Fine, in the end there will only be god-tier players to go against... no stat farming or padding things out then.
-
I get where your comming from and I also reset my card to play with friends I have several friends who can use the help and I don’t have to much of a issue going flawless could not care about stats that’s the must dumb thing in the game. But honestly I would not like what your suggested because it wil limit the friends I can play with so downvote srry

1 ReplyIf you don't want to play against good players, then don't expect to win 7 games without losing when everyone else wants the same thing. The point of such a challenge such as winning everything without any losses is suppose to be a great challenge that only the best of the best make it to. Expecting Bungie to make it so you don't go against good players is the opposite of every point of Trials. Also. I been flawless 38 times. It isn't even that great. The only thing you get is (Adept) typed beside your weapon name. And once you go flawless once, you already have the emblem. Which I will admit is cool especially the Dark Horse and Scarab. But don't beat yourself up when you get that loss. It's a video game that you are better than.
-
5 RepliesOh nevermind. You have 2 flawless guildings and are just crying about playing against decent players instead of noobs. BOOOOOO shame on you for this post.
-
Freelance needs to be permanent, than remove the flawless pool!
-
Surely just removing cards altogether would stop card resetting, its only a another method of making you grind credits anyway
-
10 RepliesI never really understand why they allow people to keep playing in trials. You should get like 3 cards or resets a week. If you want to keep playing, go to comp.
-
1 ReplyLots of players really forgot how pathetic trials was without flawless pool.
-
This is why you should be unable to reset your card.
-
I agree, there is many stat farmers and carriers who purposely reset at 6 wins to avoid flawless pool. It’s toxic and it needs to be addressed I think best solution is to make resetting a card that doesn’t have a loss very expensive to reset (like 100k glimmer and 100 legendary shards or something) Can there be work arounds to this? Sure, but it will reduce the problem
-
Without enough players none of the ideas mentioned past, present or future will ever work effectively. Ironically if there were more players, a lot of the grievances with trials would evaporate into the vastly larger match making pool.
-
I think the root of the problem is Trials was designed to be some huge fantastic esport. So now you have a competitive mode designed for larger player base but only a small percentage even play it. You have very high skilled farming the mode and the rest filled with casuals. Bungie now has this Frankenstein of a gamemode that they're trying to appease to everyone and not committing to either side. If it was as big of an esport as they wanted it to be the casual crowd wouldn't be asking for this stuff. It be ridiculous in itself to even think it.
-
39 RepliesThere’s a really easy fix to that: A pool for players who have never been flawless at all. A pool for players who have not been flawless in the current season. A pool for players who have been flawless in the current season. Problem solved.
-
I just don't get why they do it!! Like seriously what does raising their stats against lower skilled players do for them haha theres no rewards for doing it, destiny isn't really a game people brag about having high stats for right? It's not like girls or dudes depending on their interest are like damn you're top .5% in destiny trials I'm so moist, you're elo is getting me so hot right now 🥳 They have to just be either super lonely people who feel better about themselves by a number raising in a not really competitive game mode or they never were hugged as children so just enjoy being doushe bags!! Who knows honestly, whatever helps people sleep at night I guess.

4 RepliesPpl really be expecting participation trophies by just queuing up.
