Guardian Games Cheesing
Just like the title says. Legit players won’t be able to get the top 10% since streamers are showing users how to cheese the hive guardians to get a higher score. It’s ridiculous. I have a legit score and right now it’s top 20%. Bungie needs to do something about these cheesers that are doing it to be top 10%.
Edit: I am now top 10% btw legit. Doesn’t take away some won’t make it because of the cheesing with guardian angel and hive guardian cheese.

TOP 10% EVERY WEEKEND. This emblem is not rare and will not be rare. Actual rare emblems have .02% ownership rates, or low single digits. What the hell are y’all on about?

1 ReplyEdited by BrokeToasterOven: 5/9/2022 3:25:55 PMOk the revive thing I totally understand is an exploit but the emote thing before finishing powerful enemies y’all are taking too far, we should go ahead and take out the ones that are too easy to use for weapons like the glaive or exploiting bubble and well for the super one or disable lucent finisher that keeps us with power ammo, dude the revive exploit and emote finisher thing alone is not what’s getting people to 400k Edit: it isn’t hard to be in the top 10 percent between 250-300k will get you there and you can do that literally solo if you are good enough

1 ReplyI have a based idea. 1: run a game wide search for scores over 400k 2: check score holder’s medal counters for excessive revive/finisher medals 3: REMOVE said users from the score pool and disable their access to guardian games events. 4: ??????????? 5: profit Easy. It’s a competitive event. Should be treated as a competitive game and exploits go against TOS. I want this emblem. I worked my -blam!- off for over 9 hours trying to break 320k LEGITIMATELY. I don’t want an “I’m a cheater” emblem. I want a “I’m dedicated to the spirit of the game” emblem…

So I got a decent score of 264k with no cheese and went to top 20%, we all just kept chaining supers. But I do wonder what the real metric is if it were not for this revive cheese.

4 RepliesThe thing is that nobody gives a crap whether or not you did this “legit” and your accomplishment (used loosely here) will never be recognized. Everybody will immediately assume that everyone who equips this emblem cheesed it like everyone else, and no amount of stomping your feet and crying [i]It was legit[/i] will help. Just like how every flawless title is paid for. Lol

Just remove the score threshold and make it about Medallions and Laurels and Contender card completions. Bungie always caters to streamers.

Getting 350K+ isn't that difficult with a communicating fireteam. I do agree the cheese is stupid, regardless if the emblem is ugly. Ruins the competition. Also, the exploit is so obvious i'm surprised Bungie didn't catch this. This cannot be intended lol.
