So, I don't get why we are now super close to next season and we still don't know what we are getting for the next 3.0 subclass. For Void 3.0 so much information was given months prior to increase the hype and excitement for how to get ideas for builds and what guns to use. I feel that the hype is a little lacking here for next season.
Personally, I'm not asking for details. All I would like is to know which one we are getting so we can prepare at least a little bit.
(Edit - Thank you all for replying, but for everyone who keeps saying it's Solar "confirmed" and saying that the TWABs are pointing towards it and Destiny Leaks say it is. That's great I've read and seen those too and indeed I hope it is truly! But unless BUNIGE themselves is the source as they confirmed it 100% which at this point in time they have not. Everything else is speculation otherwise. I'm not trying to argue I'm just presenting facts.)

1 ReplyThis is how Bungie rolls for seasons. Its an unwinnable game for them. For every person like you who wants to know whats coming down the road, there is another person who complains about "spoilers" and "killing the mystery". So Bungie has just decided to keep their cards close, and only start to market the new season a few days before it drops. Void 3.0 was a special case, because it marked a major change AND it was dropping with a major expansion that was delayed for 6 months. So Bungie spoon-fed us info in order to keep us interested, and combat a glutted market for new games dropping at the same time. In this case, I wouldn't expect to hear anything prior to a week before the new season..... ....and If I were a betting man, I'd say that we get Arc next...and Solar last. I think Bungie wants the most time to work on Solar because changes to it---especially Well of Radiance will have a HUGE impact on the rest of the game. Plus Arc is really weak for Warlocks, when it used to be one of the strongest supers in the game back in D1. So I think it will get Bungie's attention next.

I want solar. Arc is just boring.
-
7 RepliesJust curious... What exactly would you do to prepare? It honestly doesn't matter, we'll get what we get when we get it, why do we need to know beforehand?
-
Solar.

No information is given about the content of a new season until like a week before. Void 3.0 was a year dlc change so it was talked about way before because that’s how they do it. A longer wind up to yearly content and a week before for seasonal.

3 RepliesThey pull the rug out an it's both. I'd die

8 RepliesI'll be real with you, i hope its arc. In endgame content is the one that needs the most help. IMO.
-
2 RepliesPlacing my bets on solar, which I assume they'll nerf well.

Edited by Verke0: 5/9/2022 1:33:57 PMFirst i thought arc, since Bungie released the psionic spear in the psiops activity and said that it was a first look to what arc 3.0 was gonna be like. But recently destinyleaks came up with a post stating solar 3.0 in season 17. Im good with solar first. I really think Golden gun is the coolest super, but i find the usability of the six shooter, especially in high end content, pretty useless, mostly due to the lack of survivability. Iam joping 3.0 will make it a decent choice.

As much I'm sure I would love solar 3.0 more Arc is in serious need of a change
-
we have 2 last twabs, aka ironbanner rework and solar 3.0
-
1 ReplyI’m excited to see what Titan Superman and haduken Warlock become with Arc 3.0.
-
I'm preparing for both. Just some enhancement cores. I hope it's arc. I'd like to have some reason to run it for once (other than big superman)
-
1 Replyprepare for both? That being said i agree plz bungo i search for info every other day end my suffering

6 RepliesFor me it's easy. I always mained solar, second void and never liked arc or stasis. Hence running this season void cause it's strong. Next season solar - switch between solar and void. Next season arc - stay with void.
-
9 RepliesWhatever we get it will be broken and ruin crucible.
-
5 RepliesI’d love to see them give hunters blink with arc 3.0.

It’ll be busted enough to get idiots to buy the season pass to keep playing a bad game.
-
1 ReplyStasis 2.0

It’s also been heavily hinted at with the TWAB making a good number of changes to burn on certain exotics.

10 RepliesEdited by Kiro - 13: 5/7/2022 5:51:55 AMEvery one wants solar, so its likely going to be arc then.

Gaming psychology101 isn't always a 'progressive buildup'. The direct opposite will often 'balance' the same intended result. But thanks for the feedback so we can extract even more capital, and give even less. Murica! De Oppresso Liber

1 ReplyThey did say the seasonal weapon/mind spear was a taste of arc 3.0, so that might be a hint.
-
2 RepliesI get the feeling its being delayed, which makes sense since they are also delaying the full auto feature until season 19.
-
I want Arc but next season will be most likely Solar it way more easy to develop then the arc subclass since they already have it's fundamental down burn, heal, empower already on each subclass currently in the game Since each class will have a different role Warlock-Heal Titan-Empower Hunter-Burn

Being blind to information makes the game feel fresh.
