We have two possible storylines here obviously from the vox mission we have calus coming back but there’s also a possibility of Rasputins story finally continuing thanks to the lore tab on grand overture so either way we got two possible lines set up now it’s a question of which one will we get first?

2 RepliesEdited by Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 5/21/2022 8:30:00 PMWe don’t know. Based on the lore we got from WQ and this season, there are certain things that we are likely to see at some point in the future. The return of Rasputin being one of them, with a story of us helping to resurrect him in some way. Another is the return of Calus as a disciple of the Witness, which would likely also mean the return of the Leviathan. It is my hope that this is a focus of Lightfall and that it gets turned into a full fledged destination. We’re also likely to see Eramis resurrected at some point as well, along with Savathun as a potential ally. We will likely start the road towards one or more of these things next season.

I'm betting on Rasputin. That's safe, but I'm not sure that's going to be the best storyline. I would honestly prefer them working Shin Malphur into the story to be the next hunter vanguard. Now THAT would be something.
-
So one of two storylines to be recycled

6 Replies<My hope is Scorn or Eramis. Both are season-level threats that would actually contribute to Lightfall. I don't want Rasputin. To have him return before Lightfall would lead to the same result as SoA, as any other result would diminish the intent of Lightfall. Save him for Seasons 20-23, where we would logically power up his arsenal and make him a threat to the Pyramids.>

There’s guardians that live somewhere else besides the last city- they have been running with 3 dark subclasses for a while now. Stasis + two others we don’t know about. Their leaders thinks light suppers are bad and shouldn’t be used. Until one day they went on a mission and ended up with one light subclass. Now they find our last city and help us learn dark subclasses and we help them with the light.

Bungie will roll the Ukraine invasion into the story and try to make the players feel bad for it.

Honestly after seeing the investigation board my money is on rasputin.

8 RepliesWouldn’t mind seeing the ousted Factions launching some sort campaign against the Vanguard with the backing of the Concordat led by Lysander… (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)

Whatever it is I kind of hope it ties into us learning the new Arc/Solar changes. As much as I liked the void changes, I wish it had a kind of story relevance like Stasis did. Aside from the aspects we got for beating the raid, it really didn't make much sense why we got the changes story wise. As for actual story, I'm going to say it'll have something to do with either Rasputin or Calus coming back in some way. There was a leak talking about the Plague lands returning from D1 and that would tie into Saladin telling Crow to watch over the Iron Temple for him before Caital took him in.

Don't care, skipping the rest of the seasons... I'll wait for the next Dlc...

My guess? Efrideet comes to us asking us to save her pacifist colony from the Witness. We help her through the art of dancing, by utilizing Zavala's awesome mixtape. She is in such awe of our slick moves that Effie falls to her knees and weeps.

5 RepliesEdited by ChronoRabbitN7: 5/5/2022 6:54:46 PMI've already layed out my Season of the Dreaming. It'll focus around Saint-14 & Osiris, and Yirix's Psions attempts to take a returned Mercury now that Osiris is out of the picture. (The Psion on Nessus during Season of the Chosen looked very similar to Ozletc, the Sky Piercer) before we defeated Ixel, the Far Reaching. Quria isn't dead, and is actually going to help us in the activity "Dreaming Forest". The one we defeated was a proxy Quria made from Hive tech and Panoptes shell that was Taken. The Endless Night was all a trick to solidify an alliance with the Eliksni through a Saint & House of Light partnership. "Sympathy does not breed alliances" you have to give conflicting sides a common enemy and goal. Rasputin's season will be the next, with Io's return and some stuff on Venus for the Warmind(s).

1 ReplyBungie should be starting their selling of next season here pretty soon unless they know it's not worth it.

Narrative? Changing armor resilience, weapon stability and flinch is the narrative, obviously. That and primary buffs, thank God…

3 RepliesS17-Eramis becomes unfrozen and is revealed to be a disciple and sieges the Deep Stone Crypt while Ana is there.Season will revolve around saving her.Epilogue involves Exo Rasputin breaking out and helping us kill Eramis before she freezes and shatters him.Ending cutscene is a ghost finding him.

3 RepliesEdited by Le_Reinforcements: 5/6/2022 2:29:13 AMShiro-4 and Crow run for Class President, but a rowdy bunch of proper naughty Cabal prank the Hunters' campaigns from behind the scenes, and each blames the other. Hijinks ensue.

I want ra- ra- rasputin first. Callus next. Crow becoming vanguard next season as well. Final season of the year we start to battle the witnesses forces.

No idea

warmind, warmind, Warmind, WARmind, WARMIND! *Demonic chanting intensifies*

Bungie teased warmind for this season. Because we would get craftable ikelos guns this season.

2 RepliesWar crimes

Idk, I guess we do a little trolling with the vex and then we get like a one second hint at what we will use against the Witness. Maybe even a half sec hint at what the next darkness subclass too? Whatever it is next season, I doubt it will immediately tie into the current season

2 RepliesSavathuns ghost isn’t dead, so I’m hoping for a story line where he sneaks into the tower to revive her(we have Savathuns body in the tower)
