These are the longest tower loading times ever...... And you
Give us an event that revolves around going back to the tower after every single event we do
You make so difficult to want to keep playing, endless obstacles that don't need to be there
: For context
I'm in Europe, a heavily populated PSN area, n if there's PSN players at my tower it takes a very long time to load in, if there's teams of PSN players it takes even longer, n with just 17% of the population on Xbox, every tower is PSN heavy. Crossplay causes lots of issues, this is just another on the pile.
Xbox tower = load in 15 secs
PSN tower = 4-5 mins
Teams of PSN in the tower = 6-8 mins

1 ReplyThis is not a console specific issue... This is mass loading into the tower at the same time regardless if you're solo or not... This has happened before, about a year ago then bungie fixed it by having less players in the tower at the same time... This issue of not loading into the tower solo causes long load times loading in 5 ,10 players at once waiting for all to land and is further compounded when you have last gen consoles and slow PC's loading in with next gen PlayStation and Xbox and PC. Watch when you land, look and see how many players spawn at the same time as you do.

1 ReplyThanks for taking the time to see what the heck is going on. I’ve noticed some weird load times into the tower myself. East coast US, PS5. Sometimes my ship flies for minutes like I’m totally lost and can’t find the tower. Sometimes it’s 5-6 seconds fully loaded and landed. I’ll start paying attention to the population in the tower on those really long load times.

My load times are under 60 seconds on PS. I don't know what's causing your issue

1 ReplySounds like you need to update your internet... at the worst of times it takes about 45 seconds ..maybe a minute since Guardian games started. Prior to this weak it took maybe 15-25 seconds to load into the tower. If I need to mess w my postmaster I load into the helm & dont have to worry about it since im in the instance alone. It's probably a mix of your internet provider & 19 other people who just so happen to be loading into the tower at the same time. It happened to me yesterday all 20 of us loaded in at the same time & took off like -blam!- in the light going to eva banshee rahool the pm etc etc etc lol that was probably the longest wait time & it wasn't more than a minute to two minutes. It hasn't happened again. Very annoying having to go back to the tower every activity or two.

The long loading times have an upside. Now while still playing the game I can catch up on laundry, walk the dog, cut the grass and do my taxes. I even managed to squeeze in a 2-day business trip while traveling to the Tower. Ah yes, work/life balance achieved!

3 RepliesHi, from what i know the long fly to the tower issue usually occurs when you have a connection issue. In particular i think this occurs when players with a different nat type, such as type 2 or type 3, try to connect to the same tower.

1 ReplyI figured out how to make it quick and it's gonna suprise some. I can increase/decrease bandwidth allocation to my gaming machine. I usally run 200mbps down and 2 up. That's a pretty high connection speed and I was constantly getting insanely long load times bc Scumgie has it to where they're connecting a bunch of garbage connections to mine in a p2p2p2p2p2p2p2p type situation. Lowered the speed by a good bit. Instant tower load.

2 RepliesIm on old gen Xbox One S and it takes about 30-40 seconds to arrive to the tower but it's really annoying to have to return to the tower like cant the guardian just use zoom or skype instead

I’m experiencing longer tower load in times as well.. can’t really pinpoint a specific platform, ‘cause mine are pretty random. What I am noticing is that when I have the longer loading time, the tower roster is always full.. three pages full.

2 RepliesYou people need to stop blaming sony for your 56k dial up internet. If what you said was true ( is not) I would experience the same issues loading to the tower ( I don't). Maybe you need to invest in a better internet plan ( drop the 1 euro a year plan)
