Yeah it's true I have to use lambet because it has anti barrier and I don't have any other anti barriers for legend lost sectors and I want to use teselo
-
Make them an extra slotable mod. Don't want to have to give up my other mods.

2 RepliesEdited by coda-jj: 5/4/2022 3:16:31 PMI love that it took me 6 months to get the vex mythoclast…Doing the raid every week until nobody played the game anymore…where there was no content to use it in. To now not get to use it because I’m forced into specific load outs based off my artifact. I can’t wait till I get that new raid pulse rifle from the raid in 4 months and not be able to use it because the seasonal artifact won’t require a champion mod for the season I get it in. Thank you Bungie for allowing it to take forever to get things seasons after they are viable. It’s so fun getting things when they are irrelevant and unusable!!!😠

2 RepliesEdited by Illuminary: 5/4/2022 12:28:03 PMNot on the weapons as others have said you won't be able to use exotics without anti intrinsic traits. Someone else said this, but Bungaroni should make three mods; primary, secondary, and heavy anti champ mods. I'd like to see overload primary, antibarrier special, and unstoppable heavy. I say overload primary simply because Bungie can't get their coding right and dumping all your special to stun them would be even more infuriating. On the other hand, the longer you get used to running GMs the easier it is to build load outs for match game and locked equipment activities. Not saying it's all that exciting, but it does get easier, plus you can communicate with your team what you want to use. You don't need to run double primary or two mods, run one and let the others run something.

100% agree with this. Stop being control freaks, Bungie

6 RepliesDeposit tears here please: 🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛 Thanks! 👍

No. They should not be in weapons AGAIN. They need broader mods. Like precision barrier mod, (sniper, scout, bows etc). Make it general, so we have more options yet still design "restrictions".

3 RepliesEdited by Vorvadoss: 5/4/2022 3:07:16 PMIt's not just champions. Look at all the bounties & quests that force you to use "weapon type x" or "subclass y" - it's frustrating, tedious and the opposite of fun. It's hard to believe they keep leaning into this kind of design philosophy. It's at odds with the promised "freedom" to build our guardian the way we want to, and it disrespects player's agency inside the game world. This game is at odds with itself. It's like the weapon crafting system. You need to level up your crafted weapon by using it, but wait, to get the currency to level up, you have to use the red-box weapons instead. - you use them and trash them. Who thought that was a good idea? I wish they could pivot toward a design philosophy that respects the agency they give us as players, and respect our time and investment.

3 RepliesEdited by The Hermit IX: 5/5/2022 10:10:30 AMWouldn’t be so much easier to make primary weapons/barrier, special weapons/overload and heavy weapons/unstoppable? If they’re afraid any specific weapon is broken during a season they should make it disabled in that activity (besto). They can still make you run a mod but a general one. This way all champions can be covered by a player with way more flexibility with load outs. They should make every exotic have a champion stun capability without a mod. They should also make all gauntlets have an extra mod slot so you can still run a reloader mod. Not everyone has ran the new dungeon on higher level to get them. It does make running extra artifact mods much easier and is also great on the class item.
-
That was how it was originally made. it didn't work though cause if you had an exotic that didn't have a built in champ mod like Erianas Vow at the time, you couldn't bring it. Champions should be removed entirely. They've overstayed their welcome and make the game more annoying for endgame content than better.

1 ReplyWe at Bungie have heard your feedback loud and clear, so we've made a big change to that part of the Lightblade where you have Weight of Darkness. All the screebs have been replaced with Unstoppable Abominations. You're welcome!
-
Better idea : champion mods are passively applied as you unlock them in the seasonal artifact. Boom doesn't waste a mod slot on your gun or your arms
-
No. Cause some weapons lose viability if you are forced to replace the required mod with an anti champion one. Either additional mod slots on armour or weapons for that proposal or just skip champions.

1 ReplyFor the people who don't quite have a open mind. Overload fusion, Overload sniper, Unstoppable rocket launcher, barrier grenade launcher. Do we see the possibilities that could come from this, it's more competition and less nerfing. The more competition arby has the less they'll have to nerf it because if it's not doing insane amount more than a random legendary bungie sees no need to nerf it.

17 RepliesI have never had an issue killing champs. Why does everyone hate them? I though activities were supposed to be hard? Then again this does explain why so many trials players demand free loot. None of y’all want hard content.
-
This is a quote from a song , I will change a couple of words "You can play it your own way if it's played just how we say " that is how this game has felt for awhile now . Just my opinion .
-
We already had that and it was worse then the current system. What bungie should do is either delete champions and replace them with enemies similar to lucient hive (enemies that are hard to kill and lethal but don't require an arbitrary mod to slot) or make the champion mods more general (example: rifle anti-barrier).
-
9 RepliesI like how we’re forced to change what we use every few months. If it wasn’t for that, nobody would take Gjallarhorn off most of the time. I like wondering “what’s gonna be next season’s weapons” it changes the game, and I like that.
-
1 ReplyIn addition, match game and elemental shields narrow the weapon choices down to 1-3 weapons if you include the champion mods you need.
-
1 ReplyBetter idea: Remove champions
-
1 ReplyWhat’s sad is that it was, but a certain YouTuber decided to make it an armor mod, to be honest, I didn’t have a problem with weapon related mods belonging to the weapon’s mod slot, instead it’s placed on the armor mod slot, wtf, I would remind people who’s the YouTuber, but I’m not going to deal with the zombie mod sheeps that the YouTuber has accumulated.

1 ReplyOr just stop playing, simple as that, vote with your wallet and time spent in game! GG is just reused assets anyway, same old moaning Eva "Alzheimers" Levante! Boring as FKK Get the SMG to drop and then go do something else!
-
8 RepliesOr get rid of champions?
-
I agree just get rid of champions, they have been a bad idea from the start and Bungie knows it.
-
I don’t mind it as it forces people to use something other than funnelweb and volatile rounds
-
3 RepliesWait... I feel like I've seen this before but I was complaining about the mods being on weapons
