Bungie, as a player who loves this game, please, for the love of everything, FIX TRIALS MATCHMAKING

I'm not the best at this game. I'm not the best at pvp, I'm no sweat, I've never gone flawless before. I don't have every god roll, I use double primary most of the time, I like pvp but don't use the meta. The meta is a separate issue, and honestly, right now it's not that bad. I'm not in any position of power here, I'm no expert, I'm just a person who loves destiny, and who has some thoughts to share and a simple request: Balance Trials of Osiris Matchmaking. When I do trials, I mostly do it for loot. I try to hit seven wins so I can get increased weapon drops and ascendant shards (btw, trials has a very high drop rate at 7 wins for those, that surprised me). When I try this, there is nothing, absolutely nothing, more frustrating than being put up against gilded flawless three stacks of pvp gods. Out of the thirty odd games I played last night, I got 6 wins, 2 games that were balanced and I lost, and all the rest were 0-5 or 1-5 games. I see a big problem here. Bungie has tried to make trials more accessible, which they have done by lowering power requirements. But they have not made it easy for less-skilled players. I understand, trials is endgame pvp, it's supposed to be very competitive. But how are people supposed to get into it if they have such negative experiences? How can I, never flawless, be expected to compete with the best pvpers in the game? Also, why am I put in these lobbies in the first place?? If I have a flawed passage, why am I still in flawless matchmaking? Additionally, by putting players like me into matches like this, it gives good pvpers free wins on the trial card. Lucky fireteams can have a free flawless run for steamrolling solo queue players. I have two propositions that can easily fix this. One: Separate the people who have never gone flawless into a different matchmaking pool. Give us a chance to compete with people who have similar skill to us. I can see a lot of issues with this, I can see why it would be hard to implement. That's just an idea I had. Two: Make Freelance permanant. In every other game mode that has the option for freelance, it's permanent. Why is it not this way for trials, where it's most important? I know I'm not the only person who wants this. This seems much easier and much more reasonable. If either of these changes could be implemented, I think it would greatly improve the trials experience for the 90% of us guardians who aren't as skilled. I don't expect this to get a lot of attention, and that's fine. I wouldn't be surprised if I even got negative comments on this pointing out every flaw in my reasoning or even just telling me that I'm bad. That's fine, this is open discussion. I'd love to hear what other people think. This is just me voicing my opinion. I love D2, it has enabled me to really connect with a lot of amazing people. I just hope someone at bungie will notice this and at least take my opinion into account. Eyes up everyone.
