Crucible still garbage?

It’s feeling very long in the tooth this season.

Absolutely dog shite 💩💩💩💩💩💩. Ghost bullets. Teleporting gaurdians. Horrible matchmaking. Cross play has been disastrous . Trying to save save a dwindling player base on 2 platforms just made it worse than its ever been.

11 RepliesEdited by cesar1: 4/29/2022 11:21:40 PMYes, bungie must have accidentally succeeded with Halo because they still clearly don't understand the concept of skill vs. reward with destiny. - Last word controller, SMGs, grenade launchers, fusion rifles, etc. are dominant, do not require timing or thought, and/or reward extremely passive playstyles. - The maps design and radar allows people to disengage gun fights at anytime. - Void titans get instant 300% health at anytime by pressing a button, invis hunter, top tree dawnblade can hardly be countered. - Unintended one-shotting builds. - Ability spamming is too abundant. - Lastly and most importantly, this game runs on an extremely low tick-rate and has no regional matchmaking. It's not interesting, nor fun at any level. SBMM apparently isn't a thing, but I find that hard to believe when I'm consistently fragging more than my entire team combined and losing. This game also probably has one of the worst FFA gamemodes in the FPS genre, but I blame that on map design again. Edit: Holy blam, some amateurs take simple points about a game (largely based on facts and extensive experience) to heart. If you abuse a broken feature, then just own up to it.

6 RepliesPoor map rotation. Special weapons dominate pvp, it’s kinda like spawning in halo with shotguns, it’s very cringe. Long que times Laggy players And not fun gameplay, too many folks radar camp with noobtubes.

1 ReplyIts addictive to me even though im not that good at it, my 1.30 kd looks down on me in disappointment. Only things i would change is matchmaking, add freelance control, and maybe put the kinderguardians with their kind so they dont get vigorously crushed by 2.0 kd+ players

It is/was bad?! When?! I know that, for those who need to get gud it can feel that way. But it's the same for every other game or thing. You're good at it, you like it. You're not, you don't. Destiny and its Crucible are one of the best games outthere, and that's why we keep playing and crying, even with all it's flaws. And it's better now, than its ever been.

2 RepliesThe problem with Crucible is that it is really only fun for the 2.0+ KD players who can take it easy instead of sweating the entire time like everyone else.

Depends on if you enjoy matches that end with 2x or 3x score. Really can't think of another game that does this.
