Pointed Inquiry Resonance Drop Rate
Hello Bungie Team,
I have seen a few posts on here about this same issue but have not seen an answer by Bungie, so I thought I would give it a shot myself. I have been having an unbelievable time trying to acquire another Pointed Inquiry with resonance. The drop chance for this weapon seems to be drastically low or something is bugged out. Compared to all other Throne World weapon drops, I have not seen a single resonance drop of this, past the first given by Fynch as a rankup reward. I am much past level 30 with Fynch and have yet to see another drop. This is literally the last thing I need to complete the Witch Queen title and it is becoming very frustrating spending hours grinding for no payout. Still at 1/3 resonance for this weapon. Just looking to get some type of clarity from Bungie if possible. Is this bugged or just extremely low drop rates? Can we see a buff to drop chances for this or a dedicated farm of some sort? Any help from the Bungie Team would be greatly appreciated on this one.

I believe that farming high value targets is the best way to get that scout. You can get two guns from a single chest.

I randomly got three deepsight point of enquiry within half an hour or so. Its actually great in both pve and pvp.

I spent about 4 hours doing HVT double chest farms to get my 2 additional.

1 ReplyI have not had any difficulty obtaining Pointed Inquiry, but not many of the bows have dropped for me. It's the typical RNG nonsense. Few of the Piece of Mind weapons have dropped, too. I have to buy 2 more of them to complete the pattern.

1 ReplyYou can farm heroic patrols for it just load into the throne world and drive around until you see a brown patrol symbol, if you don’t see one go to orbit and come back until you find one

I deleted 50 incomplete deep sight weapons the other day, I just have no interest US completing them. I still have at least another 50 in my vault.

1 ReplyI just finally completed all of them I had in the vault, all 23 of them, that and that dang fusion are overflowing my vault. Think I’m close to 10k in neutral element just sitting in the vault for next season.

Agreed. It’s the last one I require. Have 1/3. Drop rate is ridiculous. Come on Bungie please.

1 ReplyIt’s weird how all this works. I am over rank 30 with Fynch and spend a good bit of time opening deepsight chests etc. I cannot get a single Resonant Red Herring to drop since finishing the campaign. Not a single one. I have had at least a dozen of every other weapon drop so far. Good luck.
