I HAVE PROOF PVP NEEDS SKILLED BASED MATCHMAKING AND NOTHING CAN COUNTER THIS EVIDENCE
I FINALLY HAVE PROOF, UNARGUABLE PROOF. Yesterday I decided to try out trials for the very first time ever. FIRST MATCH LOADED IN AND I'M PUT AGAINST SOMEONE WHO HAS GONE FLAWLESS 73 TIMES AND SOMEONE WHO HAD GONE FLAWLESS 64 TIMES AND A THIRD WHO HAS GONE FLAWLESS 6 TIMES. AS SOMEONE WHO HAS JUST STARTED A GAMEMODE LIKE THIS, WHAT A WAY TO INTRODUCE NEW PLAYERS TO THE MODE, PUTTING THEM UP AGAINST IMPOSSIBLE MATCHUPS LIKE THIS, ADD SBMM WITH REGIONAL SERVERS OR PVP WILL DIE WITH HOW UNATTRACTIVE IT IS DUE TO THINGS LIKE THIS.

Due to those two reasons alone, trials and iron banner need to be in the Ranked(glory) playlist. Its the only way all players(customers) get to have a fair and similar but unique experience with Bungie's current video shooting gallery. -hank hill It shouldn't be a meat grinder. Thats bad for business. People like to get into a 3vs3 tournament where they are guaranteed easier wins by not playing gamers at/around their own skill level or time invested equipment level.. .. In a tournament. People trying to protect a video game k/d is the core reason why. Regular 3vs3 is skill based. If you are really one to take this video game that serious, why not go flawless for real, in a "end game" skill based mode? Why not keep it skill based in Trials? Its the only way to keep trials fair for all(time investors), and thus populated.. .. = 💰 That, or go back to playing the same 4 teams in a low population trials list and sweat anyway.

Or maybe lobby balancing needs to be fixed so you get 2 of the flawless players against the one with the 70+ clears for a more balanced game. SBMM won't fix all of the games problems. Lag will still exist, leavers will still exist and you will still get stomped if players are better than you. SBMM won't fix trials either. Carries still exist so your odds of playing against carry teams is still high the higher in your card you get.

3 RepliesTrials isn't that hard. But it's end game pvp. Don't wreck your KD if you're new. They'll look at that online and it'll haunt you forever. Build up to it with regular crucible. We can 1v1 too and I can show you some basics as well as help you with a pvp load out and advice on weapons to go for if you want.

1 ReplyPeople complained when we had SBMM way more than they do now. Both systems suck and nobody has found a solution that works. SBMM was the original problem, though, so it sure as -blam!- isn't the solution.

1. Stop shouting. 2. As in evert case when Bungie changes the matchmaking settings to more skill based everyone starts wanting connection based matchmaking. No matter what Bungie does people will not be happy.

Bad or new players shouldn’t have easy time going flawless, they do, however, have a easy time getting everything else. You could have waited 30 seconds to avoid matching with them again. It’s not Sunday yet, meaning most of the sweats are on ,Wait til Sunday.

Reading this made me lose my remaining 2 brain cells. The other 4 were lost during D2 pvp against players who spam abilities 24/7 and call for SBMM in a dead pvp mode in a pve looter shooter.

Most of the lower skilled players wait till Sunday. So yes you were only facing sweats. Not proof.
