Question about Felwinter - please help
Did I misunderstand something the other day? Is Felwinter actually Rasputin in an exo body, or something like that? What’s the story there? Also - how did we leave things w/ Rasputin last - is he cool or a villain? Is he coming back?

There is a lot of symbology between God/Jesus and Rasputin/Felwinter. Imagine Felwinter as Jesus, where he is from the greater being and is part of them. However, they have their own perception and thoughts that are separate from Rasputin.

Haven’t read any lore on the subject recently but I believe Rasputin would mostly stay in his original vessel while also walking around as the Exo, not unlike how the Vex operate. My question is… how was Felwinter resurrected as a Lightbarer if he’s not and never was a living being? I always assumed you had to have an organic mind to be chosen. Does this mean the Traveler can resurrect anything as long as it’s sentient or could my toaster have its own ghost?

Rasputin is more like an ally who is on our side because it's most beneficial for him to do so. Is he coming back? Probably, but he's essentially in a coma rn

2 RepliesAs I understand it, Felwinter was the Siddharta Golem project back in the Golden Age. Rasputin wanted to understand humanity by living among them, so he created this Exo. The Exo was killed in the Collapse, presumably, and resurrected by a Ghost after that. As for Rasputin, he’s an ally, but Ana Bray is still trying to put him in an Exo body so he’s dormant. However, he is most certainly alive

2 RepliesI may be wrong but it seems to me Felwinter may have actually been Alton Bray, one of Clovis' other children. If you can find all the lore from that season... I believe Clovis was the one that actually did the exchange of Alton to Felwinter. Again I could be wrong, it's been awhile.

1 ReplyRasputin downloaded his AI into an Exo. This was killed during the Collapse and brought back as Felwinter. Rasputin the original woke back up during the Dark Age and didn’t like it when he found out. He eventually succeeded in killing Felwinter out of anger of his spurning him. Now Rasputin was damaged by a Pyramid Ship and Ana salvaged enough of his code to try and put him in and Exo body to keep him alive and recover. Rasputin in an Exo body concept art exist but it’s unknown if it was meant to be Felwinter or a new body. He is currently an ally. He declared himself independence of the Vanguard to control and said he will protect humanity his own way. He will be back.

Felwinter is a exo body that Razz put himself, he died , it got rezzed as Fel. We cool with Razz, he's getting a new body rn , Ana is making him a snazzy new one
