Why do we literally have to reset each vendor rank 2 times just to get a dumb ornament
And Bungie makes it a season challenge as well, like wth make it easier to get the dumb ornament, or don’t make it not a season challenge…stuff we don’t wanna do …

Wait for the weeks where Gambit gives extra experience. It actually helps the level-up grind if are finding Gambit irritating. Also, pick up as many bounties as you can. The first four give you experience and the rest bright dust. If you're going grind out levels you may as well accumulate some bright dust. And put a Gambit prosperity mod on your Ghost. It will give you some additional rewards for playing, some of them decent. I like the one that can give you additional Gambit weapon drops. The new Gambit engrams can be good too if you go to the Drifter instead of the Rahool to decode them If you find Gambit tedious then these few things might take the sting out of it a bit.

I don’t have the ornament for gambit because gambit sucks for me. I see it like this. I never do things in this game if I feel it’s a waste of time or I don’t like it. Gambit and triumphs are just the tip of the iceberg.

We dont. You don't have to do that crap. Just let it go. Not worth the stress for a little bit of bright dust.

The most annoying one is gambit. Because at least with Crucible you have team scorched, Mayhem and once in a while IB so there's some variety there. But Gambit you have to play what? 50 games without any kind of variation it becomes like a chore.

I don't care about the bright dust enough to get involved in some of the most broken unbalanced gameplay ever developed. Maybe the seasonal challenges could also be used as a KPI to show Bungie what the player base likes, and if the balance of players that actually gets the ornaments is lower, they could use the data to stop doing it. I doubt it though; Bungie hates their customers.

1 ReplyEdited by The-IIID-Emp1r3: 4/15/2022 2:43:48 AMYeah previously when you'd get the seasonal gun on whichever vendor it would remove it from the others and instead only show the ornament in it's place I don't understand WHO at bungie thought "oh yeah they'll definitely would be happy to have the opportunity to get this gun that can be pulled from collections (oops.. right.. players can't because we introduced a "bug" making people not be able to pull it from collections *tee hee*) from the vendors instead, multiple times and then the ornament on rank 16" Having to rank up each vendor twice should NOT be a thing, pair that with the bug and "challenges" tied to them one can easily see that THIS entire thing was carefully preplanned and calculated to keep players playing the short content the season has to offer after the initial WQ launch.

I love me some FOMO. Granted it's not difficult to rank up twice, you should be able to do it casually playing while completing powerfuls/pinnacles and challenges.

(Just resetted the rank the first time this season few days ago) The issue is that Gambit gameplay takes way too long! Vanguard/Crucible gameplays are fairly quick.
