Hipsters and the Gentrification crowd ruined dairy alternatives
'Cause of them, we have pejoratives like soy boy. Oat milk is associated with coffee snobs who inhale their own methane. People who, if they could, would probably incorporate their -blam!- into the coffee à la that coffee made from cat -blam!-. There's people that legitimately have to consume these alternatives due to being lactose intolerant or having an allergy. They aren't buying it 'cause it's the latest fad or out of some false sense of moral superiority for not consuming something from an animal.

As far as the civet cat (looks more like an opossum really) that eats coffee cherries and excretes the beans, that was something long before the hipsters got a hold of it. The problem has been that the industry of greed caught on to the prices for this coffee and made civet cat farms, where these wild creatures are raised like cattle to produce more beans.
